This game is trying to be a "turn-based tactics" but has RNG elements that ruin the gameplay. Critical failures on thief backstabs and wizard AoE spells just break down the tactics. There's no strategy so much as hope you can actually hit the enemy more than they can hit you. Combined with the comedy it just makes the game feel abrasive as if it's funny to punish your players. Don't recommend and refunded.

Absolutely beautiful game. Highly recommend this game and the first, Ori and the Blind Forest

- Platforming done right. Not too easy, not too hard. Will get you frustrated, but what good platformer doesn't
- Beautiful story so far. I'm near the end of the game, but I got choked up at a couple points along the way.
- Super fluid animations and movement. Feels less and less like you are using the controls and more like you are using the character as you gain comfort with the various abilities.
- Art is gorgeous, there's so many little details in everything. Early in the game I remember stepping on a dock and the wood creaks, the dock sinks lower, and you hear the water splash and I was wowed at the detail put into one little tiny part of the game. Literally everything in the game was taken to that level and it's amazing.

All concerns in my earlier review were addressed! Game is fantastic and is a must-try

Got this game in humble bundle monthly, I probably wouldn't pay the $40 they are looking for but I'll review from my perspective.

Gameplay
Great musou that includes tons of variety, combos, and enjoyable enemies. If you have played any Dynasty Warriors you will eat this game up. Playable characters (and there a decent amount) have many different combos adding variety into your moves. Hit normal attack twice? Well you can either hit it again or hit strong attack and you will get different combos with different benefits. The "crew" aspect of the game is really entertaining as once you complete a combo you can have a crewmate fly in with a finishing attack.

Graphics
Mediocre to say the least. Definitely easy to look past since the gameplay is so entertaining, but no 4k support (capped at 1080p) and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ textures is kinda annoying

Sound
Amazing sound effects + music

Mindless zombie killing fun + basic team strategy (heals, strategic welding, etc) make this game insanely fun, even in Early Access 10/10
