It's like crack cocaine... just one more hit... yet never enough.

A VERY good game, there's a heap ton of missing features and almost as many bugs in the multiplayer but that comes with the territory of an alpha. Otherwise it is a completely enjoyable game and like Minecraft one of those games you always pick up again regularily.

I came expecting a brilliant sequel to an excellent series, unfortunately I've been met with huge disappointment. In some ways the game does add to the franchise, flying through giant space stations with traffic abundant is a sight to see. However after you get past the pretty lights, space battles are rather empty and boring; space stations are also extremely tedious and dull. In their attempts to simplify trading and exploration they've also lost something that made going on a trade mission something exciting to plan and carry out.

Overall, aside from the many bugs I do not think it's a good successor to the X series, however having played at least the demo of Freelancer I've found it a remarkably similar experiance. So Freelancer fans rejoice, this may be the sequel you guys have been waiting for.

Console Port, terrible multiplayer support. Waste of money.

An excellent space RTS. Matches can last for well over 6 hours on large maps. It does require a certain amount of strategic thought and thinking to play and win, which is exactly what the genre should provoke. Because of its large scale, graphics are not extreme however they still do look decent regardless for those times you take close ups into the battle. Don't expect any single player storylines, there are none; it's pure singleplayer skirmishes and multiplayer. It is well worth buying to play.

A very good RPG game, the graphics are slightly dated by today's standards but still quite scenic tours.
Gameplay is fun and simple. The storyline is VERY immersive however it does get rather repetitive at times so it is best to mix things up a lot rather than continuing down an entire plot line all at once.

A very worthy sequel to Oblivion.
The scenery is beautiful, gameplay simple and as always the storyline is quite immersive.
However there are intermittent crashes which can get annoying if you haven't saved that often.
