A nice send off to a legendary series. I had initially had my doubts about the games visuals when I first saw, them but when I began playing the game, and see it in all it's fluid motion on Steam Deck, I fell in love with it. The art direction is booming with charisma and personality you want to see from a Monkey Island game. The puzzles are well balanced, leaving enough room for head scratchers. The game simply demands you interact with as much of the environment and it's items as possible. The excellent writing and humor remains rock solid, and the new addition of trivia cards adds a new standard to collectibles that I never knew I wanted. There's plenty to experiment and discover with. Don't be afraid to replay the game, as you might miss some stuff, and remember that Monkey Island above all else is about having fun. I do hope we get another game down the line, perhaps a remake or two, but I'm confident most Monkey Island fans will feel right at home.
