Gameplay wise, it was fun but very hack-n-slash. They had really cool combos for each weapon type, and it gave you the opportunity to experiment with each weapon type to see what you're most comfortable with. Battles tended to lean onto the easy side, but the boss battles ended up being pretty cool, and if you're not careful it's easy to get overwhelmed.

The game was visually appealing, very immersive with the choice of art style and music. It also had a wide array of lore that was confusing at first, but as you explore the game and got more lore stones, it got a little easier to understand. It was one of those things where as long as you don't question it, you'll be fine.

The game had a number of quests that you could go on, all unfortunately more entertaining than the main storyline quest. The main storyline was extremely disappointing. The basic concept of the game is that you're the one being that is free from fate; but no matter what choices you make in the game you're stuck in a linear path.

I feel like that this game could have greatly surpased others such as Dragon Age with its multiple endings, but it didn't explore its full potential and rewarded its player with a disappointing ending. Like I said, the side quests were more interesting than the main story.

TL;DR: I liked every aspect of the game besides the story, if you aren't nitpicky about story you'll enjoy the game just fine.
