one of the most delightfully scuffed games I've played in my entire life. Everything works, but GOD is it goofy. Calling the vet in the morning and watching him do donuts around the sick pet until close WAS the funniest ♥♥♥♥ I've ever seen.

100%'ing the achievements was SUCH a delight, I think about it so often. Owning a pet hotel is a huge dream of mine, so having a game to simulate it + achievements + silly scuffed moments where my employees swept the roof or a dog was left outside for so long that they wander to the FAR END OF THE PROPERTY without my realizing it, dude nothing beats it. 11/10 I completely recommend this game

I 100%'d all of the achievements quite some time ago, but nothing tugs on my heartstrings more than going to a payphone and calling your parents for directions in a video game. That is too damn cute.

I listen to the soundtrack often, for inspiration or for a good cry, I love this game so dearly.

This game will always mean the world to me.
I bought an xbox one with my own money when I was 18, and it only had a few games on it.
Minecraft, Skyrim, and Stardew Valley.

Now I'm 26, 8 years have passed, and one thing is for sure, I still have all three of those games installed.
Stardew tickled my nostalgia bone while simultaneously overwhelming me with unseen content before I completed it, and even after grinding the achievements for 500+ hours, I still like to log on and pet the dog sometimes.

I will always love this game, the community, the artwork, the music, and the memories. 🧡
