This is my current favorite party game! Getting all the achievements took a few pages of handwritten notes and charts which is SO unexpected for an 8 player party game. if it wasn't for custom game modes, I probably would not have done it. 10/10 friendship ruining game, will play again

if it wasn't for my incredible friends and lovely fiance, I could not have 100%'d this game anywhere near as quickly as I did. I don't usually play games after completing them, but I always plan to revisit this one someday. Lovely game, super memorable soundtrack, silly and goofy good time

this game really brought a lot of my friends together curing covid, and even still nearly 4 years later it still has that same magic. I love the maps, newer and classic, and I am still having the same silly goofy fun with my silly goofy friends every few days

I got Fae Farm as a gift from a dear friend of mine who actually worked on the trailer, and was immediately very excited and impressed with its visuals, audio, and overall game play mechanics and quest lines. I was about to take a break from achievement hunting, but then this lovely game landed in my lap and absolutely roped me in.

The challenge of completing 100% of the achievements was much larger than originally anticipated, I promise every single second I have in this game was spent getting achievements.

I love a good cozy game, but what I love MORE is a cozy game that makes me whip out a notebook and get SO serious about making a checklist of things I have left to complete, and how to get there. I felt very involved, and I loved every second. (even the excruciating process of flower breeding just to have 1 of every color on my farm for no reason other than looking really cute)

9/10 lovely graphics and sound design, sweet story, and very cute. lots of fun dialogue, you can tell the devs really had fun with this one. I got 100% achievements in just under 8 hours, and am very pleased with it.
it reminds me a lot of A Short Hike with its graphics and fun little non-linear quest lines, but this one has a much more delightful and close-to-home hitting ending.

- Mechanics and movement are great
- Story is wholesome and delightful
- The open world is a decent enough size to explore without getting lost
- Non linear, very free to do quests at your own pace
- No demanding quest feed, and it doesn't overload you with information or directions when you start, you really CAN run around for 2 hours just knocking over cardboard monsters without needing to know why

this game was the first of it's kind. revolutionary for 2010. I enjoyed how easy it was to make fun of literally every scene, every facial expression, every moment where the controls went backwards, I had a great laugh.

That being said, I found myself incredibly annoyed at the continuity from the jump. Given the way the scene played out when Ethan jumped in front of the car to save his son... do we have to talk about that? How the ♥♥♥♥ did the son die and not the dad? And also, how did either of them even get injured? The car didn't run them over, it barely bumped them at most. The car literally stopped. They would have been better off playing that scene showing the kid step into the road, fade to black, play some tire screeching sounds, call it a day. But instead they set me up to be skeptical of the thought that actually went into the story for the entire duration of my game play.

I also didn't enjoy when the game introduced brand new QTE button combos at the ass end of the game that hadn't been used a single time throughout the game prior. there was one at the end (when you're lock picking the door) that was just displaying an up and down arrow, no key specifically, no mouse.. just arrows.. it wanted me to hold left click and jiggle my mouse up and down, but unlike every other one, it did not display the little mouse image, so I sat there and clicked every directional button on my keyboard just to find out that the dev's just.... did this one wrong??

This game is one of the most pathetic excuses for a murder mystery type beat. An infinite array of continuity issues, awful controls, pointless missions for ethan to go through all sorts of things like driving backwards in traffic, making his way through a maze of electrical wires, and cutting off his pinky all for what? an SD card with BASICALLY the same video of his son on it very time? Not to mention, every single character hated women, or if they were a woman, they were either a stripper or they were naked at some point. The ONLY character that cared about WOMEN and BABIES ended up being the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ KILLER??????? THE ONLY ONE??????? MY BROTHER IN CHRIST, COULD I CATCH A BREAK???? not a single enjoyable character by the end tbh. The only black character they gave a proper scene to was just to frame him as a thug murderer. Nice. Good one. Also, we had to watch a kid die? and a woman almost get raped twice? and nearly sexually assaulted with a drill?

bad game don't spend your money unless you plan on playing it on stream so everyone can laugh at it together.

I played this entire game in a day, and it was a day well spent. Lovely graphics, music, and very simple and easy functions. Purely fun. you're physically incapable of NOT having fun.... unless you finish the game. then you can start over? :D
