I really enjoyed this game up until the end of the main story line. Was it perfect? No. It had some bugs, a few flaws, etc. But on the whole I really enjoyed the time I spent playing. It's a nice hybrid of Diablo and Starcraft set in the W40K universe. I should point out I came into this game a fan of the other (similiar) games made by this company - the Van Helsing series. They too were fun but a bit buggy. I always felt like I get my money's worth from this company. A solid 40+ hours of gaming.
It's possible there is some good end game content happening in this game but I don't know because, in my humbe opinion, this game drops players off at the end of the story at a point where they are just forced to grind repetitive maps to even get to walk into that content. Not that I am opposed to grinding - it's just not even made very clear what to grind, how much, to what end, etc. I know that eventually there is more to play. I'm just not sure when or where.
Unfortunately in a world where there is more media than I can possibly keep up with the moment I hit that kind of stagnant spot I move on to a new game, novel, raid, etc. But I know there are people playing that content so there's more to this game than I have seen. I just can't speak to it's quality, etc. What I can say is that this is a good investment for the main story. And you're supporting a good, responsive, helpful company. Def worth checking out -- especially if it's on sale.
