Update 2023:
2 years later, I bought the game again in a sale and gave it another try.
As usual the story is really fantastic, unfortunately as others already mentioned, it's definitely the weakest part in the series. After ~80% of the Story, I abandoned this game. You need to fight the same few ghosts like a thousand times ... at a certain point, the game felt like everything is repeating over and over again.
If you never played Fatal Frame before or you only knew the original first part from the PlayStation 2:
"Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse" is the better choice, this game I was addicted to, and I played it nearly to 100%.

Well ... I loved the first game. Played it back on PS2.
So I was really hyped seeing this series finds his way to the PC. Unfortunately, it is the default buggy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ port as usual. Nothing but a black screen after starting the game. Thanks for nothing. This hobby "Gaming" is so much fun the past years ... not.
I think I will change my hobby to stare at a wall or something like that.

Refunded the prepurchase version. Don't want support any longer, this "we patch the game after the release good"-politic. You can keep your crap

I've played 3h till now and i just love it.
The world, the soundtrack, the story, the gameplay - this whole game - is just perfect.
You love RPG/JRPG? Than i recommend it, without any doubt!

Die Steuerung ist einfach nur grausam.

I can't confirm the problems many other had. My Game didn't crashed yet.
Also the FPS are stable at 60 FPS.
I would recommend to update your graphic drivers! It wouldn't surprise me, if those with problems use outdated drivers.

The Gameplay, atmosphere, music and the Story are just amazing. Therefore i recommend this game without any doubt.

Another masterpiece written and designed by Quantic Dream.

i highly recommend to use a controller for this game, the Mouse & Keyboard controlls are annoying. Except this, this game is just perfect.

Update 2024: They added the Gamemode "Safer Seas" - if you want to spent some good time with friends and family: Play this gamegame.

No option to disable PvP

I tried to refund this game, unfortunately steam rejected both tries.
I've bought till now more than 1k games, this is the first time, i really regret it.

I don't want to be part of this PvP community nor i want to support Developers, who won't give us PvE servers, because they need some casualties for the PvP guys.


So: You wan't to have some good time looting and spend time with Friends/Familie? Burn your money before spending it for this game.

Amazing game with an deep and dark story like Hellblade. Actually I miss the words to describe this game right now.

The Game has about 3-4 hours of playtime and is definitely worth his price tag.

Would i recommend this game, without any doubt?

Those devs did an amazing job regarding story, atmosphere, music and art design.
If you love masterpieces like Abzu and Journey, you have to play this game.

To those who down vote because of the bark sound: please inform your self.

Every one who played ori and the blind forest, knows what he get, if he plays this game.
If you liked ori 1, you will love this game.
