just like the old DX ball from middle school

Game was awesome and fun for about a week, now online is completely dead. takes 5 minutes to be paired with one other player. I still play for the puzzle mode and local multiplayer but thumbs down for lack of online players.

Reminds me of all the fun parts of pirates! the whaling, pirate battles and upgrading your ship really give this game a ton of depth and fun. Hiring men and balancing you abilities and points is quick to learn and not overwhelming. I get pretty easily turned off from RPG's when the tutorials seem to last forever so that was a big point for me I noticed and enjoyed about this game. Like many of the comments say, the dice rolling and random acts are pretty game ruiningly unfun at certain times. When you have the best boat, top men, and plenty of money but your captain dies from falling out of the boat instantly. Especially after you've dumped all his specs on hunting. Turning your character useless, is just annoying.
