Incredible old school CRPG

A game that crashes without checkpointing isn't a playable game.

Important - This game is not supported on Intel integrated graphics. Unless you want to deal with frequent crashes (or play at a *very* poor image quality), avoid until the developer addresses issues regarding DVMT.

Trust me, it sucks losing 30 minutes of progress because transisitioning to the save game screen at a spehre crashes the game.

This game. I love this game. It's a great 4x game. If I want a challenge I disable the undo/redo and auto save. If I just want to build an interstellar civilization and host seahorse exchange students it's really fun as a casual 4x. Something not great happen? Just rewind several turns.

It's relaxing, and the second another expansion is announced I am buying it full price.

It's not a game so much as it is an experience. For me it was weapons grade enriched nostalgia.

Writing is decent, but the module design is total rubbish.

This module was designed by a moron. Unless you read a spoiler before starting there are several ways you can hamstring yourself. Use default party? Jokes on you - you won't find one decent upgrade in the entirety of the dungeon. Surely there will be a surefire way to rest at some point... nope. Compensate for the crummy pregen with the characters you're forced to take - you lose them!


Whatever interaction this has with the main campaign could only barely be worth the time spent on this, nevermind that I paid money for it as well.

An absolute masterpiece. The music, the art, the gameplay. I haven't retried an (optional) boss 20 times in a row since before I was a teenager. Somehow this game makes doing it worth it.
