tried to play 6 serparate campaigns since bought
finally reached V1

still full of bugs

periscope doesnt retract... yes this is a submarine game where if you want to hide you cannot retract the periscope without a 30 click workaround every time that resets if you do anything

boat crashes into dock on waypoint mode
torpedoes dont load
alarm gets stuck
crew doesnt reload torpedoes when asked manually
alerts on the side of the screen get stuck and show irrelevant info
UI gets constantly bugged, UI disappears you cant get it back, have to restart
characters getting stuck because of non controllable crew members blocking the way
characters gettings stuck in jesus mode above the sub under water
yes this is 3 patches after V1 playing like 6 hours


these are quite basic features of a submarine game

"maybe some day it will work" was my last review, i consider now that this game will NEVER WORK without obvious game breaking bugs that become too obvious after 8 missions

This is so worth every cents. Finally it's here on steam!

Nothing changed since I last played in 2016. Game has no tactical aspect apart from... it's all about artillery. Bring arty, win. Bring anything else but arty lose. However if you bring arty only the game is fun like twice only.

Try to flank enemy with some tanks? AT Arty.
Try to attack a city or forest with infantry? Napalm arty.
Try to defend against planes with AA? Single shot and it's revealed and dead by arty before it can move.
Try to do tacticool helo drop with special forces? You guessed it damn arty against helicopters...

Eugen emits games like a factory, they went hard on the DLC and focus on developing their new games every year. Recently they returned with another DLC, again, useless as you will not have an opportunity to use them, they will just get killed by arty unless you focus arty too.

There is still zero penalty for leaving the game, which means at the slightest resistance you will find yourself 1 v all, be it against 4, 8 or 10
Also considering the complete lack of moderating, toxic, hateful and racist community just give you money to someone else but Eugen...
Officially the most frustrating game I've ever paid money for.

Definitely not what you expect. They should be penalized for misrepresenting and releasing at this state and so it's not recommended.

Why is this not part of the game? SEGA you should release languages and using the mouse as a DLC as well.

The game where no matter your hardware or your net connection the lag can destroy your game. Even after several years of development.

Giving up on the game after several small and huge bases suddenly starve to death cause all of the biologists die together.
