Cars feel great, handling is amazing. Not a lot of content, but it's fine. Optimization is OK, no stutters or anything, running 70 fps average on 3080 in 1440p almost maxed out. Kunos games were always a little bit unoptimized in EA state, so I hope it will get better. For now, it's a great base that devs can build upon, and I wish them the best.

Great game with tons of small game mechanics and nice attention to detail.

How is this amount of creativity even legal?

The game is still bugged after 1.0.1 patch, "defend Zalissya" quest line is still not working. Also, perfomance is still not fixed.

Very short experience for 7-10 mins, expected more tbh. But core mechanics are almost 1:1 to HL2 which is great. Movement is a little bit janky but it's alright, it can be polished. Hopefully we'll see more of this mod soon.

Horrible optimization: 30 to 60 fps on 3080;
Stupid AI and weird AI spawns;
Friends cannot connect to my lobby, neither can I join to them;
Water mechanic: water drains in real time even while you're offline, so you will lose all your progress if you have little time to play.

I want to like this game. I really want to. But the fact is, it's just simply worse in almost every aspect than older TDU games. No houses, fewer types of races. The core TDU gameplay is there, but the overall lack of content and race variety is just depressing. No 'deliver the car' or taxi missions, no police chases. Most car dealerships look the same and some of the car choices are just weird. Like, five different Audi R8s and three different 2017 Ford GTs in a game that has like 100 cars?

Early access start was plagued by technical problems. For more than 18 months community was telling devs to add oflline mode, and here we are. Connection issues still persist in the game btw, game can lose connection to the servers in the middle of the race.

Graphics - ohGodOhMan.gif. Game looks like it was made in early days of PS4. And the optimization simply doesn't exist. Comparing to FH5 or Crew Motorfest, TDU Solar Crown is 2 generations behind. And 45 degree wheel rotation in 2024 is just laughable.

Handling is good. Every car feels different. But some cars with full upgrades are much faster comparing to other fully-upgraded cars in the same category. So in multiplayer most of the players will use the same cars that are fastest.

Roadmap for 4 upcoming seasons and content updates looks promising, but most of this stuff should already be at launch.

In conclusion, new TDU feels rushed. Game needs another year or two of polishing and content additions.

AI is too slow and dumb, not a fan of handling as well. Game gets boring after about an hour because starting car is very slow and not fun, and you can't skip it because progression system is also very slow and annoying. Sorry, can't recommend right now
