absolutely did not care for this game, maybe RGG's worst minus the minigames, which were a lot better than prior entries (where they controlled pretty universally poorly, so that isnt saying much)

lots of fun, can recommend if you enjoy mafia-type games, but they NEED to patch in some kind of system to stop games from ending the second ONE PLAYER leaves. I'd also like the ability to the player cap.

REALLY don't care for there being TWO battle passes, on top of being 10 dollars, but I'd still recommend it despite that. Please don't abandon this game and ♥♥♥♥ me over.

this is one of the games that makes me wish there was a middle recommendation.

if you really like early/mid-stage Hussie (Problem sleuth, Homestuck Vol 1-4) you'll REALLY enjoy this, once you can get past the vast amounts of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ we've all come to know and love from anything Hussie makes (hyper self indulgent writing, over the top details meant to poke fun at the reader for even bothering to read it and take it seriously)

This game is a blatant hit piece on all those on the internet Hussie never appreciated consuming his work, and generally taking space on the internet as a whole, and I was pleasantly surprised by the game nearing the end.

The message of this game is strange, and tends to be a little all over the place (common for Hussie), which makes the epilogue which blatantly spells everything out feel all the more satisfying, even for those who caught on early, as it feels like you're finally being vindicated near the end.

This needed an editor, never should have cost money in the first place, and Hussie's getting too old to write like a 20-something, but this has all the charm and aspects of his work I've admired over the years.

overall a solid 8/10

A solid conclusion to the Kiryu saga that I very much enjoyed; an unfortunate letdown in regards to the combat compared to something like 5 (or even 3), but still very much worth playing if only Haruka's awful decision at the end of 5 is basically the sole reason this game even had to happen.

Was a little upset about the fact that Kiryu was yet again retired-but-not-actually-retired (something that has been happening since Yakuza 3) but I still enjoyed this game very much and can easily recommend it.

God bless those pieces of ♥♥♥♥ at SEGA.

TL;DR: Despite the fantastic story, this game has too much filler and doesn't try nearly enough to engage the player. 5/10

I enjoyed this game, I'd rate it a solid 7/10, however the clear abundance of padding from trailing missions to worthless time filling mandatory "side content" lowers it to a 6.

Consider the fact that there's a gamebreaking glitch that will consistently occur unless you have your settings preconfigured a certain way (softlocking you otherwise, and making you lose a good chunk of your time) and you'll understand why my actual score is more like a 5/10.

This is potentially one of RGG studios' best stories outside of Yakuza 2, but the clear need to fill playtime got in the way far too many times. Gone are the days of interesting side missions; in their place are the same trailing and chase missions with absolutely nothing to innovate or engage the player.

I could be persuaded into lowering this score even lower when you consider the fact that the drone mechanic is criminally underused (outside of a dedicated mini-game) despite, if you really thought about it, could invalidate 99% of the risk and challenge of trailing missions (or the fact that there's a disguise system that's ALSO incredibly underused, which is ALSO inaccessible during said trailing missions, where the entire point is to remain undetected and hidden)

God bless those pieces of ♥♥♥♥ at SEGA.
