Current state is quite buggy, people and cars popping in and out of view, weird sharp turns when NPCs are driving, enemies teleporting to you, crosshair bugs, quite badly optimized for mid-range systems. but all these factors are not a big deal for me though.

What really grinds my gears is, I was under the impression that the game was a sandbox type role-playing game where you were free to develop your character, form bonds, join clans and explore the city like a futuristic Skyrim. But the game is more of an action shooter with a linear story progression.

While playing as V through the main questline, it felt like i needed to rush the main story, as V would die if i don't complete the main quest. So due to the nature of the main quest, it has a higher priority than the side missions. HOWEVER, After completing the main quest the game just ends and credits roll. Though is understandable as your character dies or gets lost in cyberspace... This is why i feel that you cant actually RP the way you want when your character is dying and you are CONSTANTLY reminded that you are dying.

Honestly i wasn't too invested in the main story and didn't feel very connected with any one of the NPCs, but it is interesting with some thought provoking moral dilemmas, side quests however were slightly more interesting for example, a death-row convict willingly getting crucified to spread the message of jesus. But you see the problem when you have exceptional side quests but being pressured into doing the main quest which will end the game.

Another aspect of good RPG esque games is the ability to spec out your character the way you want to, being proficient in certain weapons and playstyles, HOWEVER in cyberpunk the perk system is abysmal, putting perk points into certain categories have little to no discernible effect, coupled with the poor stealth system where enemies' awareness is one dimensional. Quick-Hacking definitely has potential but currently provides minimal bonuses and its damage is comparable to that of a mosquito bite. I couldn't feel a difference between higher armor classes when enemies always kill me in 5-6 shots, and armor you ultimately decide to wear is based on armor value and not for cosmetics, which looks absolutely ludicrous when i'm wearing a pink hat, biker jacket and a gas mask, could have definitely implemented a set-bonus for armor or cosmetic slot, so i can wear whatever i want.

If you were expecting a RPG game, look elsewhere. If you want an action-shooter with a story, here it is.
i'd say the price is reasonable for this sort of game, maybe wait for a sale

10/10. With war of the chosen, it is one of the best turn based games i've ever played.

yessss 10/10. im usually turned off by turn based combat but this game does it great, merging exploration and combat seamlessly. combat is very satisfying with various synergies and combos you can do. you can solve quests however you want with multiple solutions. one of the best rpgs i've ever played.
