could not recommend until they fix the connection issues between parties, notably being timed out and unable to connect (and reconnect) to other players, since the game is at its best when playing with other players

avoid this game and go play world of tanks people, its the superior game when compared with war thunder as it is right now

by the way, ill never forget how much autism ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is in the minds of the administration, to the point they actively practice censorship on the forums and scarper (the head admin and community manager) threatened legal action against the playerbase once, alongside an admin (wolfman) tried to intimidate me with wanting to remove my ability to talk to people ingame because i made an joke that he tried convincing me was in poor taste and offensive

and dont forget, they abandoned the war thunder reddit while playing the victim card because the administration there refused to give them power over players as they have on the forums

only has the credits, menu, and unit loadout musics, others (like the combat musics, and the music heard at the end of the german campaign) are missing

so... people might not know this, but the developer is removing content from the game, depressingly the arena, and they pulled excuses out of their ass just to justify removing it, like, saying not many people play it, ignoring the fact they stopped developing it years ago, and say the arena wastes resources that could go into the game, yet they love to shove cosmetics onto the ingame store like hypocrites

there are people like me still waiting for an true "adventure" mode, aka pve mode, yet not only do they refuse (and hand out bans to people who talk about it even today, alongside practicing censorship against the fans) but the game suffers from an severe toxicity problem, yet they blackmail both current and former employees about if they speak about the toxicity problem, alongside removing the arena so players who are even more toxic and way beyond the skills of other people get purposely dragged into the normal mode, to massacree anyone they come across, reaper or not, or worse, no emissary flag at all, or some non-reaper flag to bait people into coming towards them, only to be mauled to death without provocation and discernful reasons

look at the controversy thats happening here, not only have they abandoned the arena 2 years ago, thus leading to not many people playing it as they claim, but they even dare use the low amount of players there as an excuse to remove it because of their failure, so the toxicity on the normal game increases further because arena people will literally be butchering everyone whilst harassing them, even not taking any loot if the ships they attack are sunk

and whats laughable? they deleted my comment from that post, which was not even an troll comment, heres the comment below, good thing i not only abandoned the game long ago, but at the same time, rare incompetence on handling it means ill never play it again, with the rare exception of when friends of mine pester me enough to play with them for abit, hopefully some indie studio out there creates an spiritual successor to this game, which is meant to be what sea of thieves could have been, if it was never developed by greedy, incompetent developers like the modern rare

12/12/2023 edit: they finally added an pve mode, but this negative review will stay for historical reasons and to teach rare an harsh lesson, especially since they still practice censorship by deactivating comments on the news of the pve mode, alongside having removed the arena and blamed us as players for its "failure"

*installs an 2.0l f4 turbo rally engine on the porsche 911 desert flyer, followed by giving it an race quality turbo system, revs the engine and the sound immediately gives me colin mcrae rally 1 flashbacks, takes the desert flyer for an spin and cries nostalgic tears of joy as the engine sounds exactly like the rally cars of that game*

i still cant believe the same guys that made and published this game are the same dudes behind dead by daylight, probably used the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ money they gained from this game to develop it instead of using it to save this pile of dung they created
