First off, Inquisition has technical issues. Crashes, freezes, black screen, the game not launching, etc. These are well-known problems that will probably never get an official fix, but the solution is usually very simple and requires only a little troubleshooting. If this is something that discourages you from giving the game a try, that's perfectly fine. I've read about some people who had to go far out of the way to solve an issue, but usually, it takes about 5-10 minutes to make the game work properly.

With technical issues out of the way, I can wholeheartedly recommend the game. It may get boring at times, but it's worth pushing past some of these boring parts to experience what the game has to truly offer, especially the final DLC "Trespasser", of which I haven't heard a single complaint. Just make sure that when you get bored, stop doing fetch quests or whatever got you bored and progress with the main story. Some main quests, like "In Hushed Whispers" and "Wicked Eyes and Wicked Hearts" are popular amongst even those who dislike Inquisition, since they are so well done and memorable. I know that some people have hard feelings about the game, but I can only recommend it.

There's not much else to say, since most people probably already know about the game, except that if you're interested in playing with it, don't let the reviews and the technical issues discourage you. It's Game of the Year for a reason, and I can say that it's well-earned.

TL;DR

Inquisition has technical issues, but there are simple workarounds to make it work. If you get bored while playing the game, just progress with the main story, it's worth it.

i dont think your review count as positive. tldr the game has crash issue since 2014 and devs still not fixed it. i can't understand which part of these count as positive.

I mean "it always has crashed" isn't a valid point about complaints about crashing. It's still crashing and having performance issues. That's going to be a major turn off to a lot of people.

You're right! My point was that many complaints are made about the Steam version, while most issues are related to Origin or the game itself, which may give a false impression of either this port being bad or the game working without issues elsewhere.

Sorry, but why are you surprised people complain about crashes if they legit have to go out of their way to modify the game to make it run? This seems like an extremely legitimate complaint.

Never bought it on Origin because it's banned in my country so I couldn't buy, now I can finally play it. Thanks for the reply :)

That happens most often if you've played with mods before. If you did, you have to install them too. Otherwise, it should work fine.

Nice review. I just bought the game and is downloading right now. There is something I want to ask, One user said that this version of game doesn't have any patches. Is it true?
