New release of the ruins map fails to correct the main issue with the map, being rogues (who have a double jump skill) to access parts of the map no other class can and deal consistent ranged damage and or heal safely during combat. Rather than addressing this with invisible walls, Ironmace took a shortcut and set a maximum height after which you slowly take damage over time. This damage is not significant enough and you can easily heal through it. The map was originally removed from the game for months whilst it was reworked with very little improvement once it was added back.

This game is a broken undercooked bdsm simulator

Game development has been crawling for months with very little additional content being added to the game. Constant back and forth and rebalance passes eat away dev time. This isn't microbalancing - the game has been subject to drastic balance changes at a whim only to be rolled back a short time later.

PvE swing patterns do not collide with the world, likely to stop players from taking advantage of mobs very specific swing patterns. This could be easily resolved, and has been an issue for over a year. Ironmace hasn't addressed the issue; perhaps they're too oblivious to notice, or they just can't be bothered to put in the effort.

The player base has dwindled significantly compared to what it once used to be, and the game is not the dungeon exploring adventure it used to be either.

It's just eh

I don't know why I keep coming back to it. Probably because there's nothing else like it. It's still rubbish.
