Path of exile 2 is a very impressive improvement of the first game. The difficulty really threw me off at first, but once I figured things out, everything started to click. The slower pace is also a huge plus, it gives you more time to plan your moves and enjoy the game without feeling rushed.

The bosses are absolutely incredible. Each one feels unique, with challenging mechanics that make every fight intense and somewhat rewarding.

However, there are a few things that I dislike. One of them is the ascension trials, which are too difficult and seem unfair for certain classes. Certain classes simply do not have the tools necessary to handle the mechanics well, and it feels more annoying than difficult. There are some league mechanics from the first game that I absolutely miss. They greatly increased the depth and variety. Another disappointment is the absence of a map tab, which makes managing maps much more difficult than it has to be. Additionally, the insane damage spikes and one-shots in maps may be quite annoying.

Another thing that bothers me is the gear and crafting system. It feels way too random. Gearing up feels more about luck than strategy, and that can be super frustrating. It’s hard to make meaningful upgrades to your gear when you don’t have the same control over crafting that we had before.

I also feel a lot of disappointment from the fact that the crafting bench was removed, at least for the time being. It was such a handy feature, and its absence makes gearing up feel a bit less fun..

That said, this is still a beta, so a lot of these things will likely change. They’ve already made a lot of updates and adjustments, so there’s definitely hope that this game will end up being a 10/10.
