I have no idea what I just witnessed. A surreal puzzle game where you move as a stickman through different areas of the city, by moving along the signs, completing puzzles to open up the way further. Upon getting all modules for a GameBoyTM looking thing, you end up in a first person perspective, where you are then able to switch between 3D world and 2D world you played the game in, soon after the game ends, but with a cliffhanger, so they probably thought of making the sequel play mostly like that. The ending is peculiar, you end up in a boat in a vast, seemingly infinite water pool... Imagine if the screen faded to black and all you heard were Lutece twins arguing.

This is leaning hard to the neutral but considering the price, it gets a better treatment. A really promising game with a bad difficulty ramp up, the game simply sky rockets in difficulty curve as there are way too few levels to make it slower, so you will have to grind upgrades just for the sake of finishing newer levels and this alone completely ruins it for me. Especially as there are only 4 types of towers, this soon becomes tedious and same ol` same ol`. Decent time waster, not as good of a TD game overall, either get on sale or skip.

A fun little rogue-lite-esque tower defense game. Unlock new characters with unique starting traits, from one of the 3 different factions that play very differently. Fairly challenging and somewhat RNG dependent, but still loads of fun.

So far it`s great. Only finished the first planet, looks great, runs great, is fun to explore and quests were okay thus far, can`t wait to play more and get through it. I do think I went way too wide with my skills on the first run, so I`ll probably end up going again with a way more specialized build, since I`m constantly behind on skill checks now.

Finished the game and I can say this game lives up to it`s predecessor, but I think it`s less of an RPG than the previous game was, simply because certain choices were removed. You can no longer change your companion`s gear, there is no carry weight so you don`t even need to think about what to grab, you just grab everything that isn`t nailed down. Armors and weapons are far less unique in a way where they don`t change much of your stats, if at all, which also means you can only ever max out 3 different skills out of a dozen or so, making only shallower and specialized builds possible, otherwise you just gimp yourself. Food is now just a way to heal, providing no different boosts, basically everything was more streamlined and simplified, but I liked it the way it was, more complex.

It`s still a great game with lots of choices and different outcomes on the story, you can play in different play styles, be it stealth, boosting companions or trying the pacifist mode, it`s all viable, it just feels less complex. I`m going to replay it once the DLCs are out, but it`s worth a play and a replay, for sure.

This is Peak 2.0, but instead of climbing a mountain, you are on a road trip through impossibly hard to navigate routes. I don`t think this is doable solo, so if you have no friends you won`t find it fun. But otherwise this is a banger, it`s almost like an escape room, because you have to tackle every problem with your RV, if RV gets destroyed you get sent back to the checkpoint and some areas are really tricky, but you can think outside of the box and find solutions to problems that shouldn`t even exist.

Early Access Review
What a game, great character customization, insane atmosphere, awesome concept, scary and anxiety inducing chases while trying to solve objectives and puzzles before you can leave the station only to go back and repeat.

If Batman Arkham games were set in Middle Earth. This doesn`t feel like a LotR game, it`s merely using that name to sell, and sell it did. It`s a game where controls are your biggest enemy, every action is tied to like 4 buttons and this makes it insanely hard to actually choose what you wanna do as game will decide for you and most of the time it will be something completely opposite of what you wanted to do. Parkour feels like a luck based system for this reason, there`s 2 zip lines, how about we go down the one that isn`t even in the player`s view? Seems about right. Combat is for some reason based on combos, and certain skills cannot be used unless you are in a combo, it just doesn`t fit this setting whatsoever. Story wise there`s like 3 cutscenes that pretty much just use the first 5 minutes of the original movie.

It`s just a licensed product through and through, at least nemesis system is fine, but that too gets boring after a while due to not being able to skip the chatter. With such a deep story and lore it`s based on, it`s a real let down and I`m a huge LotR fan. So many locations, so many possible visually interesting areas they could`ve used, but instead we have 2 barren maps with barely anything going on and even those areas look way too similar all around. Hopefully Shadow of War adresses these things. Positive review because what is there clicks, when it works as it should, you will get frustrated a lot, since you don`t really have control over the controls, crazy, no?
