I do have to compare this to 100% OJ because that's the only equivalent game that I've ever played.

Aside the current character count, this game is much understandable and easier to play. You don't have to arrange deck for each character; unique skill for each character is basicly guarantee, no need to wait until you got your character unique card; and you don't have to buy cards on both ingame, so it's somewhat less of a grind. Also in this game, there's almost 0 reason to not attack your opponent because they can't attack you back if it's not their turn.

The characters are free as well...well mostly lock behind Gacha but doesn't matter because it's currency for buying gacha ticket is limited to weekly task (and achievement, but you will get it eventually). Therefore, you don't have to hard grind in this game. Just finish the weekly task and you could wait until it got reset; but your luck is still needed for the gacha result. The starter characters already good anyway.

And lastly, the first in-game event that they currently held is pretty much ok. All you had to do is just login for 7 days and play 1 match each day. That's it. I'm just glad that for the "total match played" tasks are only giving you Currency. to buy bond stuff. Therefore, this game would be hell of a grind.

Oh and the in-game Micro-transaction are cheap and reasonable.

I felt like I'm playing Lethal Company and my friend also said it's felt a mix of that and Phasmophobia (I don't play Phasmo but it's worth mentioning because I saw a glimpse of it's gameplay). Although it's less scary than those two, it's still fun to play. Basicly, you tell a "fun" story trough scary place with your companions with a 1:30 video length that you record.
Just like both games, it's really really recommend that you play this game with other people or your friends.

Well it's roll dice RNG but it's also fun to play and great time killer, especially if you do the multiplayer. So far all the randoms that I met are really kind.
As for the Character DLC, some of them you will need a time to master them if you wanted to buy one.
