Setting and atmosphere: 11/10 A contemporary masterpiece of worldbuilding. Picture if you will, the Dwarves of LOTR living in a space station toating plasma weaponry and decked out in nuclear power armour.
The Dwarves are funny, rude, bold, slightly psychotic, and very very flatulent. The Dwarves and their voiceacting give the game a simply astonishing level of charm and memorability. The space setting is so strange and out of the blue, yet they made it work ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ perfectly to deliver a deep and genuinely fascinating world to a game with no sort of campaign or story mode.

Cosmetics: 9/10 Ya like hats? Ya like BIG THICK BEARDS? You came to the right game. I will sum it up in 2 words: Gangster Mario. Only reason I give it a point off is for some unnecessary restrictions with mixing and matching some items.

With a deeply complex traversal system that allows you to shape the destructible caves to your will, a broad difficulty slider that is further broadened by modded servers, and a physics system out of a source gamer's wet dream, the master of this game can become a true force of Dwarven fury.

The only transactions in the entire game are a handful of cosmetic DLCs that you can pay a pittance for to support the devs. The devs recently started using a battle pass season format for their updates, BUT its totally and completely free, the entire pass of resources and cosmetics is available to everyone for free, and at the end of the season all the pass cosmetics will be disseminated into the games main loot pool.

Community ∞/10 I can honestly say out of the hundreds and hundreds of multiplayer games I have participated in, this game has the greatest community. The quality of the average public game teammates I get in NA are just beyond belief. I have 160 hours in this game and have had maybe 5 real toxic encounters with other players in hundreds of public matches.
