Since its release in August, 2013, my group of friends has been searching for another dungeon crawler as encaptivating as the original Hammerwatch. For the first time, we might have finally found one.

Takes the solid foundation of the original Hammerwatch and restructures it as an entertaining rougelike. Tons of unlockables and upgrades to enjoy over time.

Online is once again easy to use, and reliable. There is a cool new death mechanic for multiplayer where when someone dies and gets revived, they become "soulbound" and both will die together when either person next dies. Made boss battles tense and difficult.

Difficulty is well balanced between risk and reward. I like the new control scheme, but I'll always miss the insane attack speed of the original game's paladin.

Soundtrack is once again astounding. Visuals are updated, loving the look of the town and the customization of the character outfits.

The title of the game is A Hard Man is Good to Climb. This is humorous because "Hard" here has a double meaning: the game is very hard.

A masterpiece of a tactical, puzzle-like combat with tons of unlockables and crunchy pixels galore. In combat, every action matters and positioning is key. Outside of combat, there are interesting loot options and unlockables. Buy this game.

Engrossing sci-fi story with stunning visuals. Stealth gameplay is smart and fun. Dialog between the two main characters is well written. Watch the trailer, what you see is what you get.

Very fun to play with friends! Works great because there's no strict rules, allowing everyone to try out something fun and see how it goes. Definitely recommended.

Be patient with devs -- online will be fixed soon. Think of every big multiplayer day one issues that AAA developers have faced in the past -- they always get fixed.
Game is great in concept and execution. It's worth your money!

Got this in the latest Humble Monthly and I totally love it! Only game in the bundle that made it worthwhile.
The artstyle is vivid, the secrets are everywhere, and the joy comes from slowly figuring out what everything in the world does and your place within that world. Highly recommend.

Wow, this game is fun, fast, and tricky!
Dev once said that the original inspiration for this game came when he was designing a puzzle panel for The Witness. I can see the resemblance! Finding the best path is a real joy, especially because you can take back moves after you make them so you're not just staring at a screen trying to solve the puzzle. Instead, Fidel is always adventuring, trying to find the best path, and maybe sometimes barking.
Like all great rouge-likes, the real joy comes from understanding all of the interactions in the game. Like when I discovered if I combo three enemies in a row, the red spiders flip over, vulnerable, until another enemy is killed.
It's worth the money!

RTFM! TIS-100 gives you an authentic experience of optimizing programs in a DOS-like setting. Even without any prior skill, if you have patience and put in effort, this is an excellent puzzle game!
The interface and puzzles are designed with the user in mind -- your victories are earned, and your reward is knowledge and the satisfaction of optimization.
I played this on the iPad, and got the Steam version to check out the Workshop content!
As I'm sure other reviews will point out, you should definitely check out Shenzhen I/O if TIS-100 appeals to you.
