WIth the oversaturation of satirical and insincere games on the market bearing the monkier of "Simulator" in the title, it's easy to conflate "Yasuke Simulator" with them, but this is refreshingly not the case. Yasuke Simulator is a very welcome, stunning and brave return to form of Simulator games. HistoryAccurateDevelopers' meticulous attention to detail of and thorough research of the topic matter really shine through in this deeply immersive and historically accurate world.
Yasuke Simulator was inspired by historical events and characters; and the stages of this asshion game are based on famous battles which took actually took place in ancient Japan. With the complete reverance of the setting that HistoricallyAccurateDevelopers took with making this masterpiece, you can tell this work of fact was designed, developed and produced by a multicultural team of various religious faiths and beliefs. The result of this hard and dedicated work resulted in a recreation of feudal Japan that is on par with Ubisoft's in terms of accuracy and respect, which is no small feat given that Ubisoft is an AAAA studio.
The game is an absolute joy to play, and its title says it all; in the end, this game is a perfect emulation of what it would be like to live and exist in Sengoku era Japan as an average black man, and I simply love existing in this world as Yasuke.
Warhorse Studios, take notes - YASUKE SIMULATROR is how you actually make an immersive historical experience!
