Played the closed betas and the open beta and now the final(s) product, here's my review: Final(s)ly, actually a good, original new FPS.

Some really good stuff in here, needs a little work on gadget balance, but otherwise, this is a very good game with tons of potential to be a great one.

Could even be a pretty cool esports game tbh, so fingers crossed that they will invest in making it esports ready. So many ways for tryhard pros to come up with fun strategies and insane moves.

Pros
Really good card game with a little bit of poker involved (which also makes the luck factor a little bigger). You can build decks where the poker cards are basically your main source of damage and you flush those b*tches every other turn, or you can build a deck where they are basically just fuel for your abilities. A fun concept and well executed.

Cons
There are some things that could be improved though: I feel like the menus/UI needs work and the campaigns are a little samey, so if you've played through it once, it's on you to change it up and switch classes/build new decks. The War of the Branches (which is basically a choose your path rogue like mode) is a fun additional mode, but I feel like all in all, it needs a bit more to hook you for longer than 10-20 hours. Except if you're a deck building nerd, of course. Also no Multiplayer, which is kind of a shame, but comes with the game format.

Verdict
For an indie deckbuilder, Aces & Adventures is really good! I recommend it if you like Hearthstone, Magic or other CCGs and like to play stuff like this in Singleplayer.

This is a pretty good, relaxing interior design game with some little problems here and there, but overall, is very much worth its price tag.

There's so many options when it comes to furniture, walls & floors and decoration, that you can be really creative without ever feeling limited by the game. I built a jungle room, a Star Wars suite, a downton abbey style room and many more and I never felt like the game is the reason why I can't get a look to work. That's a huge plus for games like this. As an added bonus, you can renovate the lobby, the restaurant/bar, the corridors and even the penthouse with an added terrace & pool and the customization is frankly quite nuts.

There are some performance issues especially when painting or tiling bigger floors/rooms, but you'll get used to it and it doesn't really annoy me too much in a game like this. Also, as with any first person game, this one too could use a FOV slider. I play on a 21:9 monitor and the FOV is very narrow and could be nauseating for some people.

Also, there is some simulation gameplay and some events, but they are designed as a secondary gameplay loop and you can't really lose if you don't do it on purpose. There's some silly events like a chicken dice game and ghosts, but they get old pretty fast. And the people that walk around your hotel are mindless, soulless and not really well animated or anything.

It's also a bit of a grind, so be prepared to work for your cool hotel rooms. Still, the immense possibilities you have while renovating coupled with very decent graphics make this game really great for people who like to be creative and want to see some very satisfying before/afters.

Early Access Review
Everyone who's saying this is Rimworld in 3D is absolutely, utterly right. So if you like Rimworld, you're gonna like this. It's basically the same, just missing some of the more advanced features.

For example, it really needs some kind of management system for clothing, so your colonists change their worn down clothes if there's better gear available. It also needs more raid variants, not just different types of insects. With that comes the need for a prisoner/recruitment system. Expedition could be more engaging too. Also, make keyboard shortcuts for actions and so on possible and show them. And so on, and so forth.

What is there though, is actually really solid, especially for Early Access. With more time and a little optimization (it ramps my 3080s fans up pretty drastically) this could actually be an amazing game. There isn't much replayability at the moment compared to other games in the genre, but you can play through it in around 10-15 hours and have fun while doing it.

Oh, but get rid of the Denuvo ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Probably one of the best, if not *the* best RPGs I ever played. Sometimes hilarious and sometimes depressing with deep intricate systems that give you choices that actually matter.

Play it.

If you disable chat and get over the fact that Psyonix hasn't really been doing anything with this game in 5 years, it's one of the best competitive sports games ever made.

Improving in this game is one of the most satisfying experiences. There is nothing quite like hitting a double flip ceiling reset 360 musty flick breezy variant after practicing it in free play for 216 hours. I would know, best thing I hit was a double tap by accident. It is, however, important that you use Cristiano wheels, otherwise you will not get better at the game, apparently.

Buy it. Or if it's already free to play (which it should be), download it.

Great game. I use the editor for DayZ cinematics. Actually I don't really know how the game is. If I ever play it, I play Altis Life. But I know a ♥♥♥♥ load about the editor.
