I absolutely love the game - the atmosphere, hacking, the vigilante tone.

And the invasion of other players is unique! Even its weird, meaningless version of Team Deathmatch - keepaway, basically - is different and provides a nice change of pace from the story. I love that all of this has a narrative reason for its inclusion - allowing the player to hop between doing story stuff, completing mini-games, invading other players' games, doing random PvP - all whenever the player wants...without ever leaving the main character's campaign. (All other players are competing hackers that consequently look different; that's the narrative justification for them being in your game. So in that context, all of this *is* the campaign.)

Be aware that the protagonist is an all-time indefensible moron. And in a way, that became part of his weird charm. A actively hated him so much that I enjoyed it when bad things happened to him narratively.

This game will never escape the shadow of its breathtaking E3 2012 reveal. Because of this, when some hear the name "Watch_Dogs" they immediately attach the pejorative "Visual Downgrade." But if you can accept this game's visuals for what they are, you will find a title with lots of entertaining ways to spend time.

The "Complete" game includes one mostly-forgettable minigame, three missions that are indistinguishable from other missions in the game, six skins (outfits & guns), some new perks, and a separate smaller campaign. When a sale rolls around, the small additional cost is absolutely worth it for the "Complete" version.
