Start my run in Joppa. The main quest giver is being killed by the warden.

I walk up two squares on the world map and am lost, and dropped into an enclosed box. I sit there for in game days bashing down the wall. I guess I was too noisy because goatfolk were there ready to kill me.

Later on in the real day I'm starting new runs.

In this run I'm using auto-explore because I'm annoyed and gotten inpatient with my attempts for the day. Auto-explore makes me stand on spiderwebs and a gun turret shoots me to death.

I don't think this one is really out of early access yet lads.

Its like if Ziggurat had multiplayer and bad design.

I wanted to like this game, but the game really needs some controls. After playing for a little over an hour I was just kinda done. I looked up how to do better, and the big idea is to micromanage your troops but the only way you can command your undead is to tell them to stand still or self-control, or take direct control. The game really REALLY needs to let you do something simple like command them to move to a specific place.

There are a few things that made me refund this game.
1) the control scheme is ass. well, the default one. too bad trying to change the options with a controller plugged in would disallow me from changing any controls
2) it won't let me set my resolution to my monitor's, which is 1440x900. There is no way I could find to set it to this resolution, and locking me out of it was annoying. Playing at 1280x720 looked pretty distorted.
3) the port shows keyboard controls on everything, even if you're using a controller. you're constantly being shown irrelevant keys all over the place, which is annoying solely because the graphics are huge for them. hey look, a huge enter key above my horse.

A person who doesn't enjoy this game is a ter-RARE-ia sight.

I give it an A.
