If you haven't played 2 Remake, there's absolutely no reason to buy this game right now. 2 Remake has substantially more content, and costs a fraction of the price. However, if you enjoyed 2, you'll enjoy this. The game is great, there's just a lot less of it.

Extremely fun. If you think you'll enjoy it, you probably will, and it's cheap. Buy the game.

One of the best games I've played in a long time, can't recommend it enough.

Better than I expected. Nothing all that new, it's a fast paced shooter in the style of DOOM, and a rougelike game in the style of The Binding of Isaac and Rogue Legacy (or more appopriately in this case, Tower of Guns). You've probably seen everything this game has to offer elsewhere in some form or another (aside from maybe the setting and the strange dialogue), but it works well and is more than a sum of it's parts. Recommended if you're looking for a fun, but challenging game you can turn your brain off to.

I got this game as part of a humble monthly bundle, fully expecting not to care at all about it. That said, I had heard good things, and it was only a small download so I thought I'd check it out, and so far for me, it has been the most pleasant surprise in gaming for the last year, if not the last few.

This game is nothing short of absolutely adorable, while staying challenging and engaging thoughout. The visuals and soundtrack are wonderful, and the enviroments themselves are varied and a joy to explore. The gameplay and controls are tight, and performance is perfect (although running this game on a 1080 is likely overkill). I'm only two hours invested so far, and I can't get enough. While it isn't what I paid, at the current price of £10.99 this game is a total steal, and I highly recommend it.

Sidenote, if you see this review within 18 days or so of me publishing it, this game is still on Humble Monthly with Hitman and 7 days to die for $12. If you're at all interested in either of those titles, I'd recommend that over buying this here.
