I've owned this game for over half a decade and always get an itch to revisit it. If you like sim games, games like "Game Dev Tycoon", this is it on steroids. Consistent updates, new content, and they even added taxes and extra costs to make it so you don't skyrocket to success with way too much money too quickly. A phenomenal game that just keeps calling me back.

This dev completely abandoned it's community for YEARS, and they're trying to relaunch the game and the first news I see about it is that there's still critical bugs like crashes and disconnects after all this time? What a joke lol

Game runs like trash, game didn't deliver on hype at all, updates haven't even scratched the surface of problems.

Originally I left this game a negative review due to issues of syncing my steam account. After being able to play it for a bit, I can say it's actually pretty fun. It can be on the grindy side, and it's not very often you run into actual other player pilots (This can be solved by going to popular hubs and systems) but the game itself is fun. Piloting feels good, the customization is pretty nice, keep in mind however cosmetic changes use a paid currency that you can trickle earn through playing... and now I can't even complain about the paid DLC because they're making the first expansion free in a month. So yeah, if you can find the game on sale, I'd go for it, especially if you've ever been interested in trying it out.

It took a bit to get used to joining up with friends, but this game is a blast! Each weapon class has it's own unique play-style, the monsters are super fun to fight (even the hard ones), collecting and managing items is a hoarders dream. I was genuinely surprised by this game and I'm glad I took the gamble of getting it.

Negative:

Uplay. Uplay is absolute garbage. I got temp banned from too many incorrect attempts at logging into a 6 year old account. Decided to create a new one and it was temp banned on creation, so I had to wait before being able to even play the game.

Not hip on a R6 game with microtransactions and loot.


Positive:

Game feels pretty crisp.
Community seems way less toxic than typical game communities.
It's cool to see bans live (lol)
Outbreak is fun to play with peeps.
Seems like decent variety of outcomes possible each match (a lot to take in at first)
It's fun

Please stop playing on NA servers, it's a lagfest littered with cheaters.

Bluehole, make sure people around the world have decent servers, it's not like you're short on money...

On a serious note, the concept is really fun, the weapons have a decent diversity, but overall the game can be clunky as it still needs optimizations and you WILL have the ocassional crash. There's huge potential here, as proven by the giant playerbase, but there are glaring issues awaiting resolution.

Pros:
Fun concept
Diverse weapons and attachments
Car to car firefights
Feels good getting chicken dinner (winning)
Bullet physics (when hit registration works)
Funny conversations with random people on the map
Can be a sneaky snake in grass

Cons:
Server issues
Game crashes
Poorly optimized
Toxic players (this can be in any game though)
People playing on non-native servers can cause lots of lag and instant deaths
CHEATERS (It's currently rampant)
Bugs (look up videos of people randomly dying from vehicles lol)
Updates seem to be slowing down due to xbox colaboration (Devs claim it's because of vaulting udpate)

Other: People have issue with micro transactions being in the game before full release. I see no issue with this as long as it always stays cosmetic only and that full effort is going into improving and adding to the base game.

Final thought: Buy it if you are expecting the issues I've mentioned... but until they have some regulation on how much ping you can have when joining a server, or actually stand a chance in this war against cheaters, I can't recommend it. Sorry Australia, hopefully you guys get some decent servers lol.

I loved Sins of a Solar Empire for its diversity. This game just feels like a watered down grindfest of who has more units and gets to certain hubs first. At least the "hubs" on Sins of a Solar Empire were AWESOME PLANETS AND ASTROIDS! This was a huge, bland miss....

This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing, I always assumed this was a cheap clone of Terraria... but boy was I wrong. My friends and I had a blast as soon as we started, excited to explore and struggling not to starve. There's a HUGE diversity in environments and creatures. The atmosphere here HELLA on point, visuals and sound 10/10. The character customizations is impressive as well, with a good variety of species to select from.

Guys, if you ever even CONSIDERED getting this game, get it... you will NOT be dissapointed.
