A cute stylized game with lots of weapons and armors to choose, with semi random level generation (more like randomized order of levels), some small puzzles that aren't frustrating, and satisfying top down combat, with an amazing soundtrack that fits it perfectly. Lots of grinding in late game. Boss fights are fun and memorable, can be frustrating but generally due to not having the right gear for the job. Definitely recommend for new players but don't expect anything new if you're returning, still worth playing though if you haven't in a while.


Company was bought out by SEGA in 2011, with decent content drops stopping around 2014, then got axed in 2016 and left to generate revenue where it could with a small team running the servers and dropping very small content updates if at all anymore. Last thing added was in 2019, and even then it was just a new floor. Just wish it had more time to work out the issues.
