I was one of the unlucky few to get the deathloop bug (which still hasnt been fixed :( ) so I had to throw away like 15 hours of game play and start a new save. The game can be pretty buggy, but with the exception of the death loop nothing too bad. I had to close and relaunch the game a few times as quests would bug out, enemies which needed to be killed as part of an objective would not spawn, and one time where a door sealed behind me after finishing a side quest effectively trapping me, a quick restart spawned me back in a safe house so no harm no foul.

Flaws aside, this game is fantastic fun. Not in the "Oh the story is so good" or "Wow so revolutionary" kinda way, but just flat out non-stop fun which I feel like is rare in this age of AAA games. The quests for the most part are fun, but its the drop kicking, freerunning, sending enemies flying, and crushing skulls core game play loop that makes me think I'll be playing the epilogue as long as there are quests and activities left.

People have talked about how the story isnt incredible, and I'm fine with that. To draw a comparison to movies, you dont watch Transformers for the relationship between Shia Labeouf and Megan Fox, you watch to see big robots suplex each other through buildings. Same deal here, I dont care if I'm super invested in the story as long as it exists, makes some kind of sense, and serves as a platform for me to kick biters of off down to the street 100 feet below.

Something I at least want to mention are some of the small details techland included in this game. The biggest one is the facial expressions of characters in dialogue. If you havent noticed, I beg you to just watch how any character reacts when you make a decision. They always have some little look or change of face that really helps bring depth to characters in a game where normally I wouldn't really care. Or how for example a npc who is afraid of the dark and claustrophobic gives a little jump when Aiden opens the door to the room she's in like the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gorilla he is.

TLDR:
The game is just flat out ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun and there is no other way to put it. Does it need a bit of extra polish? Yes. Did that stop me from wanting to rush home everyday and kick zombies off a roof? Of course not.

Game looks great but on 2 980's run in sli it is stuttering horribly even on lower settings. Love the concept and attitude of the game but the performance issues ruin it for me. i would not reccomend it to anyone looking for good performence with sli. If it would run perfectly i would be in love with it but as is it pains me to play.

Dont buy the game yet, performance is garbage and it looks like ♥♥♥♥. If they get it fixed hopefully it will turn out all right
