Hi, i'm new to DCS world, i have only flyed the free jet. I'm willing to get the Tomcat, but when i start the simulator, in the main page, i can't see it's icon in the lower part of the scree, even if i downloaded the openbeta version. Now, since i see a lot of more aircraft icons i don't own, i'm a bit scared to go for it, considering the steep price. Would the Tomcat work easily once bought or you need to install it trought some obscure process? And do you really need to use the open beta version to fly it or i misunderstood it?
Last question: the analogic cold war tecnology of the Tomcat would be an hell for a beginner compared to something more modern like the Hornet or the learning curve could be comparable? Thanks in advance.
