This conversation actually has some pretty creepy implications that could be canon or mere speculation.

He is lying that he is the owner of the plaza (he tells you straight up that he doesn't work here) and he admits that, but he also calls you out for being as full of ♥♥♥♥ as he is.

He knows that you are lying and you are here for the chip, he knows about the heist.

This isn't a person, this is a rogue AI that knows ♥♥♥♥, a lot of ♥♥♥♥ about you, and it is constantly watching you. Through your entire journey, you have been stalked by something, and it is not doing anything to you, because you are an investment to it.

Either that or its not that deep and I'm looking too much into it, but it would be a pretty cool plot hook to explore.
