It would be a great game if they fixed some of the issues. Unless you have an xbox one controller, the controls are going to be bad. The default control layout involves moving around with the arrow keys for some reason, although that can be fixed. However, if you do use WASD, there are some other buttons that cannot be bound to another key so the controls will be awkward.
