Please for the love of god remove Denuvo. MHW has already been cracked a long time ago. Might as well remove it so the game runs better.

Otherwise this is a great game, lots of fun. Great serious multiplayer game with friends. Too easy sometimes. Surprisingly beautiful too.
Story is bad, handler is ugly and annoying. I did like the environment and world building though. (Coral Highlands and Rotten Vale are some of the coolest environments in video games I've ever seen)
The gameplay is very fun (as a Hunting Horn main) but I'm not the kind of nitty gritty min-max type guy so I can't say if it's thoroughly balanced well or anything. I noticed myself not really caring about armor until maybe the very end of high rank. I only upgraded to a new set maybe 4 or 5 times over the course of 143 hours.
Soundtrack is decent, somewhat generic. However, Akihiko Narita's compositions are far better than the other composers on the soundtrack. Rotten Vale in particular has phenomenal music, just listen to this: https://youtu.be/fVM7LMGlXwk The main menu music is really good too.

Simpler than previous Monster Hunters with a lot of QoL improvements. Some good, some ok, some bad. Here are some of the changes:
+Seamless maps
+Slingers (I LOVE these, best new addition)
+No managing pickaxes or bug nets
+Mounting minigame is a lot better
+Paintballs replaced with a monster knowledge leveling system
+Book with knowledge on monster weaknesses and breakable points

~Scoutflies (Nice addition but too bright and distracting)
~Can eat food and manage equipment anytime (Nice QoL change but I preferred prepping beforehand)
~Numbers show up when hitting a monster

-Randomized jewels (I prefer randomized charms since you have to manage so many more jewels)
-Food has little to no point (Certainly less important than in MHGU)
-Every important area in the hub world is way too far apart, massive waste of time
-Said it before and I'm going to say it again, the handler is absolutely awful
-Rations/meats have little to no point because stamina stays at maximum for far too long
-Have to watch a cutscene for story missions before playing it with friends

Overall, a far more casual game compared to its predecessors with a few major flaws that prevent it from becoming a masterpiece (mainly Denuvo, Poor Story, Too Easy). It can also be very hard to go back and play the older Monster Hunters if you start with this one because of how different this game is.
