Game so good I've been anticipating it for months and it still lived up to it.

The sheer breadth of options are enormous, you're gonna realize you can finish a level in 1 turn when it took you 3 turns before. Also just straight up funny and well written on top of being the greatest tactical puzzle game I've ever played.

A truly unique and fun rpg. Extremely entertaining and wonderfully voice acted. But if word guessing isn't your cup of tea it will probably not have the same magic.

It has been 2 years since I played through Prey for the first time, and I still won't shut up to my friends about it

Buy the DLCs, they are so gooood. Game has relatively frequent crashes even after patching it with the unofficial 4gb ram patch, but it is what it is, never has been a major setback. Save frequently tho

When I started the game I kinda hated it, that is because despite what people say this isn't D&D. This is still very much an rpg, but with a lot more work put into the world and mechanics. I've found the focus is about 30% exploration 20% conversation and 50% combat so read up on some guides for builds.

When I realized all that I started to have fun, throwing candles on flammable surfaces, tricking enemy AI into an unfavorable position. In summary don't come into this as if you were having an adventure romp with your buddies this is a game of tactics and deceit

It's free! it has a better skill system than skyrim and better story. Even The small sidequests (except for bounties but they are just quick kill quests) have so much character and choices

This is definitely not everyone's cup of tea, it requires you to do a lot of reading text and managing people. If these things don't put you off then this game is great. I'm only 2 hrs in and I am already invested in 5 characters. You play as the guy that picks the hero up and reminds them of who they are, and it feels amazing being on that side. Also it feels like what you say has an actual impact on the conversation whether you empathize, retaliate, stay silent or question either way the characters react to that.
