It's absolutely jank as it stands, but even with that in mind I had a lot of fun learning new tech with my friend with the five or so games we played! Plus the Tohunga maker is great

Monkey ball with bullet time and lovingly crafted levels from people you KNOW adored everything about the original
Even if you never played monkey ball, this stands perfectly well on its own and I can't wait to see where they go with adding even more levels and the custom level editor!

It's a fun game to play but only with friends. If you're trying to solo it get ready to have terminal brain rot because dear LORD it's horrific trying to manage the entire ship by yourself. The coop aspect absolutely makes up for it however, because I've had a blast killing time with some pals just going around the open seas, looting stuff together.
I haven't run into any other players trying to sink my ship (or any other players aside from my friends for that matter) so here's to hoping it stays that way
Edit: I ran into a player and now I hate sea of thieves and video games as a whole, I'm deleting my steam account as we speak
