This game speaks to me in a deeply personal way. It catapulted itself towards my top 5 favorites ever.

The ambience and overall atmosphere are incredibly immersive and captivating. Most characters feel like real people, with real, relatable struggles. The lines between the paranormal and our everyday horror under capitalism are blurred in a brilliant way. With a sharp sense of humor, the dialogue ranges from "haha silly" to "complex insights on human nature" in a very balanced way.

I just beat the game, played the extras and will now immediately play it once more to complete the second major story path. To the devs: thank you for making this. Please keep putting out amazing stuff.

Multiplayer doesn't work, unfortunately. Movement is scuffed when playing with a controller, too. Really looking forward for them to fix this so I can play with my friends. Eh

I GOT BANNED FROM THIS GAME BECAUSE A HACKER REFUNDED A PURCHASE USING MY ACCOUNT.
Someone in China hacked my steam account, made "me" buy a lot in this game currency and then refunded it. I know this cause I started receiving some emails from steam in chinese out of nowhere. I quickly used my cellphone to retrieve my account, but it was too late. As a result, my steam account got a permaban on this game (which I hadn't even heard of). Now I have this really ugly red huge warning on my profile, saying I got banned, because of a game I never even played on my f***** computer. The game support didn't help at all, and steam support said something along the lines of "it was your fault for being hacked". This really sucks and I would really appreciate if the game support would do something about this. Steam is my main gaming platform as I can't afford console gaming, I've been a positive member of every single online game community I ever partook in and now my once cute profile is ruined by this problem.

UPDATE: after 7 months of waiting, Amazon games finally removed the incorrectly applied ban. I'm not gonna delete this review, tho, because it was an extremely stressful experience. I really hope other victims can be helped as well.

Loved it. Some of the most charismatic characters you'll ever meet. Fun battle mechanics. Interesting plot and amazing soundtrack. The game gets a little way too dark towards the end, but serves its purpose to make you reflect on whether to forgive someone and how to move on after a great tragedy. Would recommend!

cool game. I hate it. can't stop playing

This game has really cool aesthetics. I think people who like these trippy experiences might like it, but if you're used to common RPGs based on plot and puzzles, you'll probably just feel frustration. The game is about wandering aimlessly until you find something, but the maps are way too large and the character moves way too slowly. It's really satisfying when you do find something you can interact with, but to me personally this didn't make all the waiting worthwhile.

Even better than Frog Detective 1! Lovely and fun, short and sweet. I hope they keep making more of these!
