Unplayable. Get past the tutorial, get booted from the server, try to log back in, on the off chance that it actually works, rubberband around until the game crashes to desktop. That's the core gameplay loop.

After I seal the tunnels and raise the temperature until they all collapse from heat stroke, my men move in to secure them. The dead are stripped of their gear and vital organs and are tossed in a mass grave out by the chaobulb orchards. The survivors are taken to my maximum security penitentiary under Mount Bezos.

The gifted among them, be it in body or skill, are subjected to endless psychological torment from Mr. Bytes, my resident android, who requires neither rest nor sleep, until they are shattered in mind and spirit. These lucky few are sold to the off-world slavers to extract steel and compacted machinery from the glitter mines for the rest of their days.

The unlucky ones, the ones who are little better than animals, are injected with my patented slurry of luciferium nanites and mutagenic sludge to turn them into actual animals. These bastards of man and beast are stripped of thought and identity until they have all but forgotten how to speak or walk upright and see me, the hand that feeds, as God and master. These are my minions, my brainwashed monster men. Armed with crude and violent weaponry and riding atop the backs of their further devolved kin, I send these abominations, these minotaurs and serpentkin and swinelings of my own creation, out to plunder and raid and die fighting the very settlements they once called home for fresh chattel and loot to sell to my extrasolar contacts.

I am the most powerful and morally repugnant faction on the planet. Nothing matters to me but the bottom line. The weak are meat, and the strong do eat.

Juice and zest of 2 limes

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon sugar

2 teaspoons dried oregano

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika

3 tablespoons olive oil

3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/4-inch-thick strips

3 bell peppers (red, yellow or orange), stemmed, seeded and very thinly sliced

1 large white onion, halved and thinly sliced

Eight 6- to 8-inch flour tortillas, warmed if possible

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves

Sour cream, optional

Hot sauce, optional

Directions

Combine the lime juice and zest, garlic, sugar, oregano, cinnamon, cumin, salt, pepper cayenne, paprika and 2 tablespoons oil in a large bowl. Add the chicken to the marinade and turn to coat. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or up to overnight.

Heat the remaining tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting the excess drip off, and add to the skillet. Cook, tossing occasionally, until the chicken starts to brown, 5 to 6 minutes. Add the bell peppers and onion and cook for until the vegetables are tender, 3 to 4 minutes more. Divide the chicken, peppers and onion equally among the eight tortillas. Garnish with the cilantro, sour cream and hot sauce, if using.

Game's alright.

I ordered a cheeseburger, but it got cold after I got home.

Very solid turn-based RPG with an emphasis on making economic decisions to maximize the outcome. But really, what sells me is the sound design and the soundtrack. The characters all sound amazing and distinct from one another, with rumbling mechanical voices that I just adore. And the blend of electronica with Gothic is unique and fits the motif of "cyborg catholic battle-priests" like a glove.

7/10 gameplay, 10/10 immersion, 8/10 overall.
