Description:

This piece is a layered depiction of the feelings the subject (Bert) elicits within my soul.

The first symbol, is that of a drunken, alcoholic bear. This is a very poignant symbol as it relates to both the subject's nickname nickname Bert, as well as his kind and cuddly nature. The alcoholism symbolizes the subject deep seeded loyalty and ferocity in defending those he cares about.
