Prefix--One thing I would like people to be aware of is that the "included songs" that are provided with the game have had their tracks completely customized to provide the "best looking experience" for the game. I've tried playing the same songs that the game has from my own personal collection and the layout of the running track is completely different and doesn't line up like the provided ones.

Review--Coming from playing audiosurf for quite a while and various other Rhythm games, I have to say that I am a little bit disappointed with this title. The concept is cool but the execution needs work. The rhythm algorithm can be decent sometimes but most of the time it just feels like a bit of a mashup of inputs with no real “sequence” behind them. The only inputs that line up the best I would say are the drum beats. There are cool moments when the stars align and everything seems to work together but in the short playtime I’ve had that only has happened once. I know not to expect perfection but there are other rhythm games out there that do a much better job.

This is arguably one of the best worms games to come out in "recent" years. It sticks to the classic 2D formula that people have grown to know and love without fundamentally messing up the mechanics of what makes this game so great!

The new weapons are a great addition to go along with some of everyone's favorite classic ones. They add some new options for destroying your enemies or friendly worms. Not to mention, the famously ridiculous ninja ropes are still going strong in this game. :)

I've owned this game for several years now and feel it has aged very well. The 2.5D (3D models on a 2D plane) worms games are fun in their own way, but something just feels “off” about them in comparison. Maybe it’s because I grew up playing Worms World Party.

I own just about every worms game on steam and I've got to say that I always find myself going back to Worms Reloaded to play with friends when we all feel like enjoying some unique and infinitely fun multiplayer.

Do yourself a favor and pick this game up the next time it goes on sale, or even full price if that is your style.

**Edit: As Viisas_Mekkatorque reminded me... they did delay the game once so good job to Team17 for fixing the critical bug they discovered. However, this still doesn't remove the annoyance factor and occasional issues caused by the low resolution menu.

**Original Review**
I've spent countless hours playing the original version of Worms World Party on the Sega Dreamcast. When I saw the announcement that this was coming in a "remastered" version to PC I could not have been more excited.

Unfortunately, this game did not deliver like I thought it would on Day 1. As many others have noted, the menu screen is at a very low resolution. With Team17 touting 1080p and 60FPS, one would think that they would deliver this "standard" throughout every aspect of the game.

All I can say is this... If you are interested in this game, just give it some more time for Team17 to fix some of the Day 1 issues. However, with the "trend" in gaming of companies delivering broken products on Day 1, I am not happy that Team17 fell into this trap as well.

A bit of a PSA to game companies: Please delay your game if you know it is not ready for release yet. You have a greater chance of losing fans if you release broken product than if you were to delay the game and have a proper release.

Early Access Review
Nothing has ever made me as jumpy as this game has. Snakeworms will give you a heart attack.

If you're at all a fan of the first Q.U.B.E game, you will probably find the narration and story telling to be a great addition to the experience. Like others have said, this probably could have been added as (free) dlc, but I actually ended up getting this game for free since I owned the first one. When I originally played the first one, I felt like something was missing from the game since there was a distictive lack of context. The addition of story telling to this version definitely made it better and definintely added closure to the whole experience. If you don't have it yet and are interested, try to nab it on sale or even at full price. I haven't even touched the included DLC yet!

One of the best indie aracde shooters I've had the pleasure of playing on the pc. It is fun, challenging, beautiful and an overall joy to play. It's very reminiscent of the Serious Sam Games but with a bit more of a serious tone and with an upgrade system.

If you don't own this, it's definitely worth a pick-up especially if it goes on sale.

Pretty good game. It needs some balancing still, but overall it is fun. The cartoony deaths take away from some of the seriousness of the game and the weapons feel good. It is very reminiscent of games such as Conker's Bad Fur Day with its in your face slapstick humor. Loadout has great potential but needs to be balanced (Shield OP). Only time will tell with this one.

Great casual game to play with friends. Easy to pick up and fun to play. Can't wait till they add more of the board types. If they ever do that is.

If you haven't bought this yet, you probably should. It's basically like Mario Kart except with Sonic characters. The comptuers are bloody cheaters and I hope they all perish with a firey death, but don't let that take the joy away from playing this game. There really is no other racing game like it since you transform between 3 different types of vehicles. Overall it is a great game and a joy to play alone or with friends.

I don't know what the hell kind of drugs Croteam was on when they made this. But this is probably the most ridiculous game of its time.
