This game forces you to play at a high mouse sensitivity.

Be prepared to dedicate a few weeks of your life to study before being able to actually play this game.

The random number generator in this game is way more unforgiving than the one in the last game. The sound design is way worse than in the last game. Everything made more sense in the last game. This feels rushed.

They removed over half of the functionality of the previous version. Avoid like wildfire. No short matches. No community servers. Seemingly no anticheat.

I cant complete a full multiplayer game for the life of me, 10+ attempts and its either the ai destroys my friends or the entire game is ruined by game breaking bugs.

Predatory monetization.

Updates all my stuff. Just /MAKE SURE/ to create a restore point before you update just in case something goes wrong.

Gold standard of Colony Simulation.

The foundation of the game is there. However right now it can be a buggy mess. The developer(s) put out a very fast patch that is supposed to address a lot of this yesterday.
Unlike many other games, this game already has a lot of quality content.
My recommendation would be to wait a month or two for some of the more glaring bugs to be ironed out of this iteration of dwarf fortress. Optimism is fair for this title.

Bugs I've experienced range from abrupt crashing-to-desktop, to not being able to build an upward staircase (resulting in the starvation of a dwarf). The game is fun but the bugs right now make it hard to digest. Can't wait to try it again in a month or two.

Font size is unnecessarily small.
