Boring and tedious. Even the second game wasn't worth playing. There's WAY better dealer tycoon games to play now, avoid this heaping mess

Absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. Spent FAR too long trying to group up. Waste your time on something else, this is the worst game i've seen in a decade.

(LOL) Looking back on this review makes me laugh, after the first 30 minutes, it's the same thing over and over still.

If you don't mind OSRS's way of grinding, you won't mind this. It could get pretty fun once there is more PvM type instances like raids perhaps and PvP could get interesting if they really wanted to make something out of it. It's very early in development it seems.. Very bare bones in terms of variety of things to do other than chores over and over it would seem at the moment, especially when working towards quest requirements.

The combat does need more flavour, or something. It's pretty bland as it stands but I do enjoy the automatic HP reset out of combat, no downtime is nice to keep you interactive and playing.

The gear is kind of lame in the way that you need to start over basically when you start a new episode and it takes a lot out of the enjoyment i've been having when I need to switch gear whenever I want to do something in another zone and keeping track of all your individual good pieces VS the crap in your bank.

All in all I would suggest you DO NOT play it right now. Wait 3-5 years for something good to be made first.. r just give up on Andrew because the only good games he ever made, weren't actually great until someone else came and took it over to make it fun (Basically all OSRS)

I've personally got to the 3rd episode and i've unlocked the storage spots with the new spell, it's worth doing and getting it out of the way early! your other grinds will be so much easier!

Edit: No nothing gets easier, it's going to be the exact same thing you see from the moment you get in the world, it will be that, times 500 levels with no variety. It's absolutely the laziest game design i've seen in well over a decade. Even indie games made by 1 person with no experience would make a better game than this. Save yourself 5 bucks and skip this game, potentially forever. Andrew needs to redeem himself PDQ because this isn't even ready for alpha launch, there's nothing to do. I've done 5 quests and i've unlocked the entire game. Imagine.

I've got mixed opinions on this game..

On one hand yeah, it's very Satisfactory clone. You get a ship, like NMS, but you can't actually do anything fun with it and the controls are absolutely terrible.

It's a fun time killer for a few hours, but I wouldn't put too much thought into it right now, especially with other titles boasting a complete game to play with much more content in them. This game has a lot of optimization and additions that need to be added to it, but it's got a long road ahead of it before it would be worth paying any money for.

It's honestly just a poor rip off of Payday, with celebrity likeness added to sell more copies. In all honesty, the game is clunky and riddled with bugs. It's not flushed out and it's pretty plain in terms of variety and ways to complete heists.

There should have been co-op campaign, or some way to progress your campaign with friends/pugs.. For the price, just get PD2 or *gulp* PD3 lol...

Don't buy this.. or the deluxe edition of the game. The cosmetics aren't even that good looking and the mounts are nearly entirely useless since you use a broom 99.9% of the time.

To me, the game is a solid 6.5/10

I honestly can't recommend this to anyone anymore. I was 'okay' with the game for the first week, but after 100% on hard mode I can personally say this game is extremely bare bones for the type of lore and universe we already have established..

You get a hogwarts experience with a story as linear as GoW/TLoU/Uncharted. Choices should have mattered for a game like this.

How are the "dark wizards" somehow more stupid than the students, they throw entry level spells at us... They should be throwing dark curses at us here and there too no? How is the 5th year who just picked up a wand the only one to use crucio. They introduced the 'spam spacebar' mechanics at the very end to counter curse an unforgivable on the final couple bosses, those should have been dynamic attacks that dark wizards throw at us here and there throughout the game with a 'Dead by Daylight' type skill check so as to punish the player for missing a dodge or protego/stupefy.

Do you want to do hardmode? Well no problem, 25 wiggenweld potions and a dodge button that is basically god mode cheat.

And the school celebrates us becoming a dark wizard. Where are the aurors? Where are the school prefects? How am I allowed to walk into the headmasters bedroom in the middle of the night, with him in there and nothing happens, no punishment for wandering at night as per established lore or even into the forbidden forest. We should be sent back to our room/detention room and the night should end. the story should progress, side quests could be missed. It's FAR too linear.

The NPCs outside of the main/side quests are just hollow, you can't duel anyone outside a couple duel quests that you forget about almost instantly when you're done them. They advertised fighting dragons as one of the main selling points, but never do we get to fight or interact with one, it's always just a cutscene or flying in the distance untouchably while carrying a cow that is clipping 20 feet behind it.

Also idk if the nerds out there caught it, but in this game on one of the field guide pages it states the poly juice potion cannot change your species, but in the harry potter movies hermione's poly juice 'backfired' and she turned into a black cat. Which only an animagus can do, so it just contradicts itself is all. Maybe i'm wrong about this one? or the dev's had an oversight.

Also.. F*** peeves. Annoying poltergeist... I'm trying to listen to the background students dialogues and peeves always comes in and just destroys the subtitles with the same 3 things every time! the background NPCs are already as dull as it gets, why interrupt their voice actors to introduce peeves for the 50th time this playthrough. A mod could remove that ghost and the game would be all the better for it.
