A little different from other Sonic games because of the time travel mechanic which has you exploring more, but the levels were pretty fun, and the soundtrack was awesome. I also enjoyed the special stages as it reminded me of the Super Mario Kart battle mode on SNES. 😁
It's just a shame that SEGA decided to remove this title from Steam in favor of Sonic Origins.

A decent collection similar to the first one with the remix challenges, leaderboards, music player and gallery but with four games instead of six.

A couple things I wasn't a fan of, the first being that they removed the save state and rewind feature for a checkpoint system and the second is that you can't play this offline... it won't even launch unless you're connected. 😕

They're all pretty fun though and I really like the soundtracks in Mega Man 7 & 8 and the 8-bit look in 9 & 10.

Super Win the Game is a cool little retro style platformer which is a sequel to the free to play You Have to Win the Game.
It's similar to the first one, but I like how they added an outside world as well as a speedrunning section and even though it only takes a few hours to complete, I enjoyed the simplistic gameplay and overall look.

What a game! From the beautiful visuals, incredible soundtrack, adorable character and nice story, it's all top-notch. I also noticed some similarities from games like MO:Astray and Katana ZERO which was interesting to see.
I loved Chapter 4: Passage of Time. Something as simple as being able to run free with some DnB is such a cool feeling. It also reminded me of Sonic and Sega's blast processing. 😁

I initially couldn't get my bluetooth controller to work... turns out I just had to power it on after launching the game instead of before. Also one of the things that threw me off was that I couldn't control the flying ability with the D-pad and had to use the analog stick. Having to switch between the two just for one ability was a bit awkward.

An amazing free to play platformer. It's definitely a short adventure, but an awesome one as well. 😎

Underwater LIMBO? Well not quite, but it reminded me of it with its monochrome look.
SILT's a casual adventure game where you possess different creatures and solve puzzles. It plays pretty slow, but the artwork and atmosphere is awesome and I definitely felt like I was in the abyss.

It's a cool little game but I'd only recommend picking it up on sale.

An amazing piece of software and a great way to relive the classics, and the fact that it's on Steam with all of its perks just makes it a win!
It's my go-to for emulation and while it might not be the most user friendly, it's very customizable.

I personally like using LaunchBox / Big Box as a frontend and RetroArch as a backend for the emulators / cores, I just find it easier navigating games this way. 👍

Somerville's a pretty good sci-fi adventure game with an awesome atmosphere and great sound design. Love the intro track.
I thought some of the camera angles were a bit awkward though, especially when it was zoomed out it was kinda hard to see what I was doing. I also came across a few bugs/glitches, but nothing game breaking.

It's a short game but I still enjoyed it.

A nice collection of old school SNK titles, but damn these games are hard even with the rewind & save features. I think I wore down my rewind button with the amount of times I used it. 😁

I love the overall presentation though, with its smooth transitions, background video gameplay, and having the option to choose between the arcade and console version as well as switch regions.
I also like the museum section. It's cool looking at all the promotional material / bonus content and the ambient music was quite calming, reminded me of the Polymega.

One issue that would randomly happen was the controller movement would get stuck in one direction and I would have to do a couple of rotations on the dpad to free it up. Mostly happened when playing Crystalis, which is a game I finally got a chance to play. 👍

The highlights for me were Guerrilla War & P.O.W. Prisoners of War. I used to love playing the NES version of those back in the day.

When PLANET ALPHA meets INSIDE.

Planet of Lana is an awesome atmospheric puzzle platformer with its beautiful art style, fantastic soundtrack (Horizons 💗), and overall gameplay.
The puzzles were relatively easy, but enjoyable and I liked the interaction between Lana and Mui. I actually felt connected with the characters throughout the journey and there were definitely some memorable moments.
I thought the quick time events were well implemented and kept me on my toes, but you can always disable them if it's not your thing.
And when it comes to performance, the game runs great at ultra settings but I also like how they include a "potato" setting for lower end systems.

An easy recommendation if you're into these puzzle platformers. 👍

Sit back and explore the depths of the ocean in this chill underwater adventure game.

Fluid motion/controls, beautiful visuals and a fantastic soundtrack!
I also love how much sea life there is and that you can latch onto different creatures and just go for a ride.

ABZÛ reminded me of Journey & Flower, and even though it's a short game, it was a nice relaxing experience and refreshing to play. 👍
