This is one of the few games I've been meaning to write a review for and honestly its long over due.

Dead by Daylight is a 1v4, survive or be killed type of game. You get the option to either play as a killer or a survivor; there are quite a few to choose from on both sides each with special perks and abilities. Killers goal is to sacrifice all 4 survivors before the survivors can get all five 5 generators to work, and open the exit gates. Their maps are randomly generated each time meaning generator spawns, chests and pallets are random each game you play. The game also includes lore (which is nice for those who enjoy reading lore), also DBD is unique all in its own by adding different killers/survivors some of those killers are even the iconic slashers such as Michel Myers, Leatherface and Now Freddy! Each game you play you're going to get different outcomes, this a type of game were working with a team and adapting (to each killer/survivor) is a must, if you plan on winning the games you play. The devs work hard to put out updates that fix balance, bugs, gameplay, and many other things, they usually throw out quite a bit of updates and they do listen to community feedback which can be both a good thing and a bad thing. They recently added a new report system at the end of match considering there is quite a few of rage quitting players; I've seen one in almost every match I've played. Most of the community tends to whine or grip about new killers or survivors being op, but honestly they don't know much considering you have to adapt in order to win. Each killer and survivor has a weakness and you need to find that out to ever be able to contend against them, the team you get is basically your only real option of winning so that's why I recommend at least playing with a few friends (usually makes it more enjoyable) but soloing can also be fun. They do have a mode where you can play a match fully with friends, I've personally used that to test perk builds and offerings to see what works the best against or with killers/survivors. Lastly this game is honestly wonderful and the devs work hard to make this game enjoyable and for its price you can't really complain, for how much goes into this game it’s worth it in my opinion. You can get countless hours of brutal, hair raising, heart beating moments, and what's not fun about sacrificing people on hooks?

Man this has to be my all time favorite game I have ever played. I remember back before this was ever on steam and during the start with the old anubis model (which I loved) and countless other models some which were bad but thats ok. This game hasn't let me down in performance, characters, updates, or anything of that sort. Hi-Rez is one of the best dev companys out there and its a Free to Play game with not one single Pay to Play or Pay to Win, they do so many different quests for free gems (which is the games actual money currency) and even give you coupons for discounts off of skins. Which nothing you're paying for with real money helps better your 'gaming or skill' in any way, its purely about liking skins and just cosmetic looks for certain gods you happen to like. Also they do login events were you can even earn gems from that as well which is more than what most games do nowadays, they are not greedy with the money they get either. They give back to their community with giant prize pools for those who wish to play competitivly, so if you're really good you can even make thousands of dollars in tournaments they have. Smite has to be one of those jack of all trades kinda games were you're getting a lot without having to spend really anything, they have 80+ characters each with different abilities and skill sets, which are all based off of actual mythological gods and their lore which they include on each character to read up on (which is nice for people like me), they even have different game modes to play on so really nothing is boring, each match you play will be different and never the same thing again and again which is really nice. Also unlocking different gods you do not have to pay with gems, you can unlock gods by favor you get from playing actual matches or AI modes with the free gods and the ones on free rotation each week, so you're not always stuck playing the same old things over and over. The only negative thing I really have on this game is its community but nothing can be helped on that one, that's basically every game to some extent but they take their reports on players seriously in this game, so if someone is being a ass or trolling the game, right after the match you'll be able to report them and if some kind of action is taken against that player, it'll notify you. This game has so much to offer and is not just set around specific types of people or playstyles and if you have a couple of friends it'll make the game more interesting and fun to play in as you can create your own clan in game. That about wraps it up for my review and if you do play smite I hope you enjoy it, its well worth the time.

I cannot recommend this game in its current state, I have a 1000+ hours recorded on this game and I have spent many hours playing this game and being apart of this community, thus I cannot recommend a game that claims its a shooter when in reality its basically a freeroam/roleplaying game. The game is centerned around skins and its graphics, that is all it currently has going for it at the moment. The community is overrun with people pressuring the devs for updates solely for skins and more items, not actual game fixes or updates and the devs in return send out those updates too quickly resulting into more major issues for the core of the game itself. Which makes a lot of the game more broken than it already is, they have ruined a lot of classes with hard nefs left and right, balance fixes that don't actually help and their dino turning radius's are horrendus. Not to mention finding a good TDM server up is a rare sight when freeroam is everywhere and that is where most of the majority of players can be found. There would need to be a lot more gameplay fixes and better balances before I could ever recommend this game again, so for now it will stay a broken unbalanced mess with children running around bragging about their feather novaraptor skin. If you're looking for a human vs dino game I recommend the original Primal Carnage.

This was one of my first games I could honestly say I love, I remember first being introduced into the PC world and it was honestlying amazing. Each class and weapons were fun to play, the tyrants actually being scary and doing a hell of a better job than its freeroam counterpart PCE. All of my hours spent on this game has been a enjoyable one, espeically since friends joined in on the slaughter. GTTC and TDM is what this game was made for, everything about this game was amazing, its a shame they never kept going with it but its still a hell of a good game to play with friends. This game is far more balanced then PCE could ever hope to be, no broken game modes and just all around fun without the community so stuck on skins and items. This game is purely about actually carnage and not just some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sit around and do nothing. If you do play this game I recommend the Rex Rampage Server, and CONSTA GTTC if there are still up.
