Garfield Kart is one of the most unforgiving and unfair games that is also very confusingly designed. not being allowed to choose your cc when playing online is a sin against having fun in a video game. i do love Garfield tho.

I'll begin this by saying Fallout: New Vegas is one of my all time favorite games. In this sense, Outer Worlds goes above and beyond with stellar storytelling and great gameplay. There were times during dialog exchanges where you can say the wrong thing and totally eff up a quest that will ultimately change the direction that the game goes in. There are a lot of choices for you to make that affects the story (which is also what made Fallout:NV so good too). The combat also requires a little strategy and I have had the AI sneak up on me and kill me before. I have the difficulty set to Normal and still had areas where I had to save then go back later and be extremely strategic about the way I went about combat. Modding weapons and armor is super fun too. The skills / perks also affect different parts of the game.

I read a lot of reviews before I bought the game saying how quick the playtime is. I can that say I played on the first planet for almost 9 hours. Anyone who says it is too quick doesn't take their time in doing a thorough playthru. I explored every cavity and looted every location I could on the first planet before leaving it. In my opinion, Obsidian knocked it out of the park with this title. The only difference between this title and something like New Vegas is there aren't as many factions to side with and the story is a bit more linear. Still Highly Recommended for anyone who is a fan of New Vegas or Elder Scrolls, etc. If you're looking for a sci-fi FPS RPG with some great writing, this is your game. It will teach you how much you actually eff up in real life conversation exchanges lol

a true classic, play the whole thing from the OG Half-Life to fully enjoy it
