It is repetitive.
Its very simple.
But it scratches that old school itch so damn good.
Its obviously not perfect and it doesn't run all that great for me for how it looks imo but its early access so there are things you need to expect.

Its very cheesy in terms of "Story telling" (Which i like!) and the menus are "okay" but its not too bad.

Overall a great foundation and i hope we see some great updates in the future.

The game has crashing issues and the devs are aware of it.

I had 2 crashes in my 7 hours so far but I can't say if it had something to do with me putting the deck to sleep or not (some games really hate it) but other than that it has been great. Performance on deck is great (60 fps flat) on maxed out settings.

Graphics settings are lacking though but the game is not demanding and only a toaster would need more settings than the ones provided in the game, it's a vita game after all.

The TTS voices sound good but pronunciation needs to be fixed here and there. It's not "AI" as some people claim for whatever reason.

The game is essentially the same as the vita game with a few QoL improvements.

Controls are a little better but still a bit rigid but I have to say that I enjoy it, gives me old school MH vibes where positioning is a lot more important and less forgiving.

I loved it on vita and I do still enjoy it on deck.

I don't believe the game deserves a mixed rating. But to be fair, I haven't played the game on windows which might be worse (as reports make it seem)

Would be nice to be able to roll through enemies or at least smaller ones. Getting stuck and dying because you can't even get out sucks :D

Biggest offender is the loot though. Why is the game so stingy with loot in an ARPG? I barely drop anything, let alone anything of worth or important to my char.

I don't want to be drowned in loot (duh) but bosses take super long in this game and you can end up with barely anything of worth.

Its fun but very frustrating because of that.

i am basically playing this game 24/7 on my phone.
Its really fun and the claw game is just so addicting.
I am definitely putting this on my "Games that are like crack" List next to Balatro

I don't know what i expected but you can't have anything nice nowadays.

Performance is bad and requires FG and upscaling to be anywhere near smooth gameplay.
Controllers do not work unless you fiddle with the steam settings and even then its a gamble if it works.
My 8bitdo Ultimate controller (Which literally works with everything else) is not working, even xbox controllers have the same issue. (how does that work)
Graphically the game is fine. I think it looks good here and there but that is subjective.

I don't want to be another beta-tester.

I love this game.
Please give us bugs as well (maybe on a different island or something) and a few community wishes and i gladly buy it as a DLC.

5 is a steal for this game. So fun to chat with people and cheer each other on when we get something good.
I am also a fan of the boxing glove and the guitar :P

I honestly believed you would turn it around with this expansion but this DLC is nothing more than a lazy reheat that looks different with a few new sprinkles on top.

MP is nice and saving this game tbh.

I wish i had more time to play nowadays.

I recommend it, especially on deck. I absolute dislike mouse and keyboard controls though. Controller is the way to go imo.
