One of the most interesting and addictive rougelike's out there, even if you don't like poker or the genre this is a must play, it came out of nowhere and is one of the best games I've ever played.

Wizard/Mage class overpowered, No severs for Oceanic region. Don't waste your time.

My Friend Pedro is a perfect example of how a certain idea just works so well as a video game compared to any other media. This game is just stupid bullet time, blood soaked fun. Not a long game but just the sheer amount of satisfaction you get out of perfectly wiping out a group of enemies without getting hit will never get old. A variety of enemy types, mini puzzles and parkour segments help diversify levels but doesn't take away from the combat at all.

8/10 - Blood. Bullets. Bananas.

Night City is undeniably one of video gaming's greatest open worlds to explore, simply driving around the city witnessing the scale and aesthetic of its buildings, roads and walkways is "breathtaking". The vehicle, character and weapon designs are fantastic and fit really well in to the world. It's a CD Projekt Red game so the side quests stories are exceptionally well fleshed out and have a lot of fantastic supporting lore to read through, even though the missions can get very repetitive - go to place, get/kill something, leave. Another thing I love about this game was the voice acting, rarely was I pulled out of the immersion due to poorly delivered lines or bad accents. I also really enjoy having Johnny Silverhand along for the ride, sort of giving you 2 main characters to interact and sympathise with, a witty line here or there and interaction in side quests really solidified how Johnny is part of the whole experience not just present in the main story line. Unfortunately other aspects of this game are simply unfinished. Glitches, bugs and performance issues as well as distinct lack of customisation features really brings this game down. The perks and abilities were just underwhelming for a single player game and felt more like incremental increases you would likely find in an MMO. This meant I didn't really feel any changes in my power or ability moving forward in the game until very late in the story. Perks and cyberware upgrades should have a stronger impact to the way you interact with enemies and complete missions.

6/10 - Incredible world to explore and interact with, let down by lack of certain features and plagued with bugs.

Rods, lines, hooks, tackle, bait, reels. Do you have any idea what this ♥♥♥♥ is, cause I don't, Spent all my money buying stuff for a rod that didn't fit together with no indication of how to actually do it. All I did was stand around and pull tiny ass fish from a brown unity asset flip swamp. How you nerds have hundreds of hours in this boring, ugly, shallow, cash grab game is beyond me.

1/10 - Bad.

Fantastic game and a worthy sequel to the first one. Sanctum 2 lets you engage with you enemies on the battlefield mixing FPS and tower defense gameplay . Simple campaign not too long, not too short with a simple story (told in the form of a comic strip on the loading screen to each new map) doesn't get in the way of the gameplay which has plenty of variety and gives you a lot of freedom with how you play. Unique and varied enemy types adds diversity and keeps you on your toes. The plentiful amount of weapons, turrets and skills gives you a lot of options when planning your strategy, paired with the added difficulty multipliers on each level adds a tonne of replayability and keeps things interesting. Another thing to add is how stunning some of the surrounding map design is. The scale of the world around you very much fits in the theme of the game.

7/10 - Still a solid game, years after release. This game is so much fun to play with friends.

Hands down one of the best action rogue likes out there, nothing can prepare you for how brutal and unforgiving this game is while also being one of the most unique games in the genre. Thanks to a combination of beautiful visual style and sound design the gameplay feels so satisfying, even if most of the time you're hurling insults at your computer screen. The 1 bit style is excellent but doesn't distract you from the game beneath and the wonderful soundtrack is reminiscent of the days of classic retro games.

9/10 - You go down.

Clustertruck is such an elegant, fast paced and unique 3D platformer. The premise is simple, parkour from truck to truck and get to the finish line. Some levels require precision, some require speed and some require you to think outside the square a little. The game can be truly unforgiving and ruthless at times but that's all part of the challenge so embrace it. The simple aesthetic allows you to focus purely on the platforming aspect and the movement in the game feels fluid, calculated and oddly satisfying. A great game if you're a fan of the genre also great if you like going after achievements or the fastest time.

8/10 - Simple idea, perfect execution. Great from start to finish and always fun to come back to.
