For its rough exterior I really did enjoy the game. The upgrades feel meaningful and there are reasons to use all of the guns at every stage of the game. Biggest negative would be that I didn't feel like the followers really had strong identities in combat. All in all, a nice casual shooter.

Not sure I'll buy the 2nd one. It was released just a month after the first and looks largely the same?

As a rule I am not a fan of point-and-click games. I probably bought this game because I like deck builders and I saw the cards in the screenshots.

I decided to play the game anyway since I owned it. It really was a nice 62 minutes to see one possible scenario play out. As many others have mentioned you have to play the game multiple times to see all the different things happen. It wasn't.. that good.

It's a buck but at the same time I feel I would have been better off having not played it. 27 minutes to complete and 27 achievements. If you care about cheevos then I guess it could be worth it.

An aquaintance of mine reached out to me and said "want to play a video game sometime" and as luck would have it I had just picked up this game. Yet another in a long list to be thrown into my backlog to likely never be played. Escaping said fate, the game was installed and we gave it our best shot. I think we played 3 times the first night, just barely getting past the first boss. The next week we got past the next boss and so on and so forth. Over the span of about 2 months we probably did about 20 runs before we were finally able to beat the base game.

Playing the game was a lot of fun, yes, but the sense of accomplishment was the real prize. Wizard of Legend actually helped us form a bond and now we are good friends. The biggest issue now is that we can't fathom a game as good. Hopefully WoL 2 delivers in a big way.

It's a fun bowling game. I found it difficult to adjust to the powerups on steam deck. I would get the demo first if you are going to play this on deck.

There's a long standing audio bug present that obviously isn't going to be resolved at this point. There is a fix, but it's sketchy to download it and I was not willing to try it on my steam deck. Game seemed pretty good but not gonna play through it with 0 audio.

I've enjoyed the first 8 hours just going through the story and leveling.

Maybe I'll like the end game, maybe I won't. Historically I haven't liked the end game of isometric ARPGs but I'd say I've already gotten my $30 worth.

I bought this game somewhat near the time it came out in 2011, finally in 2024 I was in the mood for a retro RPG parody and I was not disappointed. The game certainly isn't groundbreaking but it was honestly enjoyable. There's just enough humor and content to make you feel like you're getting a full game even though, in all likelihood, you spent 0.59 to get this in a bundle with Chtulu Saves the World.

Fun deck builder. I was able to beat the game (the first time) with the basic classes and cards. This is one of those games that unlocks more cards/characters as you beat the game multiple times. It also lets you add difficulty modifiers to spice up the runs. I'm glad that's an option for people who would want to do that but for me beating it once was plenty.
