TL;DR Overall, it is an alright looking survival game that will kill your time navigating menus and backtracking, and takes 5-too-many clicks to do a 1-click action.

The problem with this game is the time is takes to get anywhere and do anything.

I like the theme and vision, but as others have said, it takes FAR too long to do even simple tasks, and the materials req./weight limit is immensely restrictive. There is an instant teleport to your home, but it still takes a long time to build even a small home. Speaking of which, because you are on a quest for the story, and recipes are restricted to what gearscore the world is (i could be wrong but that seems to be the case, that or story progression), theres no reason to stick around in the first place.

pros:
*very impactful swings/combat/chopping/mining
*interesting era/thematics
*i personally like the idea of a survival game with a main story
*building walls/doors/floors/roofs, etc can all be setup at once, then materials added
*third person fov and first person fov sliders
*interesting rune crafting system to stitch into gear for additional effects
*repairing equipment uses "essense" which can be gathered from deconstructing any item in your inventory, no longer need mats
*mobility feels great when you dash (more in cons)

Cons:
*low weight limit (even with additional backpack)
*items of practically the same thing take up multiple slots of inv. (i.e. meat from prey, meat from predator, bug meat equivalent
*cannot adjust direction following a dash, leading to possible fall damage (its a large leap too, so its not that outrageous to happen), also it seems.... silly? as a "dodge" you full on leap 20 feet in a direction..??
*many containers are not interactable. Literally only chests it seems
*the ui needs a complete overhaul- lots of unnecessary information that is quite overwhelming, and lacks important information (i.e. how much armor does this provide, how much damage does this do, how much weight does this increase my bag). On top of this, there is easily 5/6 clicks to do anything. Too many tabs, too many subtabs.
*as much as i like the teleport to home, it is quite immersion breaking, as you can use it LITERALLY whenever- mid combat, doesn't matter, blink, youre home. Overweight by 40%? Teleport home.

I will keep trying the game out, as i imagine later the game improves, but the base functions like the ui make it difficult to return when there are much simpler but effective crafter/survivor games out there. Updates to come as i make this journey.

a really comprehensive ghost hunting game. You must use your tools to identify the ghost and its evidences, AND exercise it with a bunch of other equipment- from throwing holy water, reciting the bible, findings its cursed object and zapping it, and more! The ghosts are very playful (T_T) they can grab you, drag you, make you drop all your equipment, break your arm (since you can dual wield objects), or remove your sprinting! They also break down doors (even your van door) and can leave their house/location. This game has come a long way since it launched, and i believe it is one of, if not the best ghost hunting sim rn :) HIGHLY recommend.

fun game. interesting story, i love the city. NPCs are funny, and really have personality sometimes. Side quests are fun, not lame and monotonous for the most part. Getting chromed up is fun. Wish there was a cyberpsychosis mechanic, and dual wielding, but oh well.

Recommend to everyone who wants skyrim but in 2077. Lots of people, amazing sights, fun gunplay and melee play. i like the monowire

Took about 38 hours for me to complete the game, did a nice semi-completionist approach, did all the side quests minus some of the last few before the "no turning back" point in the game. The gameplay was obnoxious, boss battles were more frustrating and tedious than epic (except the final final final fight, that was pretty neat). No way worth 70 damn dollars. By the end i was just begging for it to end. Most of the combat is in boss battles- (which did i mention, very frustrating). The game has different gear to mix and match your builds, but it ends up being "equip everyone with cure, everyone with an element, Barret with taunt, spam magic until they get stunned, ope out of mp, use ether, spam magic some more".

oh and the english voice acting is so dull and lifeless- especially cloud and sephiroth. Gosh sephiroth sounded like some guy they pulled off the street to talk in riddles with a voice as pleasant as cardboard.

Just buy the original, or FF15- much better combat experience, and much more to explore.

A nice little idle game that has surprising depth- If you enjoy mass lifeskilling or grinding levels, this is for you.

It feels great to come back online to see you fished for 6 hours and found a ton of gems to sell for money, and a crap-ton of fish that you can then craft into food for helping you battle, or to afk mine ore, to then level smithing, to craft weapons and gear. Tons of little items, nice vector art style for images, and PLENTY of lifeskills and monster areas, dungeons, and trials-

Haven't done much fighting at this point, as im getting fishing to 99 to make some money first, but the combat is charming, and seeing x/99 on skills makes you wanna just get them all 99. Simple to pick up, with some variety in how you go about things- fighting [magic, range, swords, 2 handers, summons], farming, cooking, fishing, astrology, woodcutting, mining, smithing, fire-making, woodworking [arrows, javelins, bows], and a few other things :)

Pick it up, seems to me to be the best afk rpg game- never was a fan of clicker games, and those are everywhere. This is more rpg than afk-clicker.

Recommend :)

I've tried to play through this game several times but for whatever reason just couldn't do it. I came back years later, but decided to play with the wiki up on another screen to assist me in goal setting, what i should do, etc, and this helped a TON.
The game is really fun and progression happens at just the right pace i think. You go through cycles of [mining]->[crafting]->[boss fight]->[crafting], repeat. I just got the Terra Blade (a crafted sword from several previous swords and boss drops), and defeated the altars before the Moon Lord, and trying to kill him is a bit of er.... a challenge >_<*

I find the 2D aspect of this game to be charming, and actually enjoy it much more than 3D like vanilla Minecraft as it can make much flashier and crazy fights. Setting up housing for npcs, discovering underground biomes and lairs, unlocking the ability to mine better ore after getting better picks/drills, crafting gear from other pieces of gear, a rough idea of "classes" and different playstyles (magic, range, swords/yoyo's, summoner) and fighting some cool bosses, sky events like eclipses, blood rain, rain, dust storms, etc, It all makes this game dynamic, not to mention the utter VASTNESS of the crafting. This is where the wiki can become incredibly helpful- not necessary just helpful. You'll feel OP at the end of each progression chain, but that doesn't last long once you go into a more difficult area, or try to fight the next boss. You'll feel belittled in no time (looking at you Twins, Golem, Moon Lord)

The only major negative thing is that replayability i feel may be lacking, as once you have killed all the bosses, and have gone through the progression in gear, making a new character and starting at ground zero would be so boring, as the end of the game is much more fun and flashy. I'm playing on a small map, and i kind of regret it, and now that i've almost mapped out the entire world i don't have much else to do really. Luckily you can take your character and what he's wearing into another world, so i might start a large world, with my OP character to just explore and have fun, but jungle is jungle, lava is lava, dungeon is dungeon, etc. etc. It would be just more of the same so i can't see myself playing much more after i farm the Moon Lord for the Zenith Weapon and best gear. Maybe trying different style of play (i.e. trying magic more than melee) or mods (like calamity mod) would add more hours, but regardless it was/is a fun journey :)

Definitely recommend

Dang, **so** many reviews with misinformation because they haven't gotten far enough (getting to like floor 13 or below).

Game is great **if** you like jrpg's (grinding monsters with a team of characters), 2d character/monster art and animation, minimalistic hud/visuals/systems (i.e. no annoying mana costs and they keep it simple with 4 types of spells, and 4 types of weapons) but lots of secrets, gear progression, tactics, and overworld abilities.

Combat becomes much more thought provoking and intense after the first handful of floors (literally sitting at my computer stressed out sometimes haha some monsters have really scary attacks that can penetrate armor, or hit SUPER hard so you have to know how to prioritize for example). Lots at stake as you can die, but at least your game doesnt end when your party does! Go rescue em with other heroes!!

Worth the 24/30 dollars imo, but dont hate the game for being a genre you dont enjoy lol That's dumb. :P

I usually don't hold interest in far cry games, but this one locked me in until i beat it. The world is way bigger than it seems, TONs of side content, hilarious side characters, sad moments, action packed moments, and a story that is creepy and realistic in the way it creates its characters. The bad guys all have backgrounds and a past that make you alllllmost sympathize with them ;P At the moment i'm writing this i have 24 hours, and i did one run of the entire story, with a handful of sidequests (did about 30 out of like... 90 maybe?), as well as getting all the companions.

Lots of different weapons in the game, and companions to use (i personally found the hurk story questline to be hilarious, and hes really good with a rocket launcher lmao). Gun customization (sights, suppressors, camos, magazine), for those that want to be stealthy, or just go all out and use LMGs. Customization of personal cars/trucks/planes (bobbleheads and paint jobs). Skill trees that allow you to spend your talent points on by completing challenges.

The game has 3 endings, and with each choice you make it seems to make the world feel a bit different. Dialogues are different in the future, npc's might mention what you did before you got to them, etc.

The story is setup similar to say Breath of the Wild- where there are 3 zones you must do the story in, but in no particular order, then final boss/sequence. In each zone you are gaining resistance points by helping not-cultists, and at each level up of the zone you get more main story content (3 level in each zone). The story kind of forces itself on you in these instances, for example, my first zone i was doing i was on my way to another side quest and a ton of big trucks with guns came outa nowhere. I allllmost held em off, but died... or did i? I woke up in some bunker after those cultists "killed" me. I was so surprised. The way the game makes the world feel ever-evolving is fantastic.

Tl;dr I would highly encourage anyone interested in this game to give it a try. Openworld game with guns, and in redneck Montana with a religious cult. Engaging story, fun characters, good time :)

R6 Siege feels like a mix of cs:go + battlefield, with heroes that each have unique abilities/tools at their disposal. Maps are chaotic, destructible, and complex, which can be difficult for new players, but over time, learning which walls share with other rooms/sites, which walls should be reinforced, and which would benefit with a big blast hole- make each game slightly different, without taking into consideration the differences in which heroes people select for their group comp. Each round, the two teams select which operators they would like to play, hidden to the other team. The defensive team gets started reinforcing and setting up their traps/tools, whereas the attacking team sends little drones to drive and try to scan to identify the enemy operators, bomb sites, traps, etc. The round then starts! Thats where the fun begins!

Pros:
*number of maps
*maps are very complex- makes for unique experiences
*pleeeenty of operators- with all sorts of tools at their disposal
*Some gun customization for each operator- sights, grips, muzzles, camos
*competitive and casual modes
*regular updates, map changes, operator releases, etc
*cash shop is cosmetic only (but can buy operators to skip grinding for in-game currency)
*fantastic servers- some super low ping
*beautiful looking game, with weighty impact from guns- feels realistic
*Sound is fantastic- easy to auditorily locate, and rounds flying create echo in rooms that create immersion and chaos in group coordinated attacks
*pretty active banning for harassment, hackers, etc. Maybe even too much- i got suspended a few years back because i got baited into typing a banned word in chat, and got instantly kicked from the game for suspension lmao

Cons:
*running into stupid toxic people in casual can be annoying
*operators cost a pretty penny of in-game money, pretty heavy grind to buy a new op. Makes it hard to keep up- hard to know which operators you should save for (they cost so much, so to know which one you should buy without testing em out is annoying), unless you run into them all the time in games.
*takes a lot of mental effort and reflexes- a few games can burn you out mentally for a bit, a very "pick up, put down" sort of game, which is only a minor problem.

overall i'd say it is a solid 9/10. It has all the things a good tactical shooter needs, although because operators take SO long to grind to get, it can become disheartening to continue playing. Stay for the memes and the fun times, and get an op on occasion. It's well worth a try :)
