Early Access Review
Pretty addictive game loop as you'd expect from a good rogue-like game. The game has a lot of characters / weapons / items to create a new build every run. This keeps things fresh and enjoyable.

I have never played a game which gave me this many different emotions. Ori and the Blind Forest will make you cry, but it will also make you smile because of the sheer joy there is to find in the well-written story, amazing music, beautiful art and atmosphere and challenging puzzles and level design.

I don't usually play platform games. I don't usually finish games even. And I don't usually write reviews. But Ori and the Blind Forest is one of the best games I played in the last three or four years. Very very recommended!

85/100. This game doesn't do a whole lot wrong. But that doesn't mean you'll like this game of course. To figure out whether you'll enjoy Torchlight 2, answer the following questions:

"Do you think colourful doens't necessarily mean kiddy?"
You've enjoyed mario games when you were a kid, and still do some mariokart when you get a chance. You've played League of Legends until level 30, and enjoyed the variety of playstyles and creativity in the character design. Colours cheer you up, and the more a game looks like Nyan-cat just took a huge dump on it, the better.

"You like a challenge"
Torchlight two is not a game that will bend your brain in all kinds of thinking processes. It doesn't require you to plan you next move for days. However, this game is challenging, especially on the harder levels. Bosses and big groups of little monsters can be extremely dangerous, and you have to keep an eye on your health bar at all times. There's not much tactics, although good use of your spells is important. Tip for beginners; against bosses, hit-and-run tactics can be very efficient.

"In your previous life, you probably were Vasco da Gama"
If you don't know who Vasco da Gama is, no worries. Rebirth can have some amnesia as side effect. The important thing is that you love exploring. You love wanering around, having a destination but not scared to wander off to a side mission or even a completely new destination. Torchlight requires you to explore, but makes that task very pleasent by providing in great great varieties of landscapes, atmospheres and map design.

"You don't mind getting some Carpal Tunnel"
Torchlight is a Diablo-type game. That is not the official name of the genre, but calling it Diablo-type probably makes my point just as clear. You do quests, fight monsters, loot their dead bodies and improve your skills and equipment throughout the game. You'll be clicking like like a madman, and at the end of your day you'll walk to your bathroom mirror and flex your impressive index finger muscles.

"You have friends"
Experiencing Torchlight 2 by yourself is fun. The beautiful maps, the challenging bosses, the great music and atmosphere,... you don't need anyone to enjoy those things. But Torchlight 2 can be played in co-op mode as well, and boy oh boy is this fun! You have to experience it for yourself, but exploring, killing monsters and bosses and just fooling around is great fun when you are with your mates.

If you answered 'yes' to all these questions, go buy this game immediately. If you you answered 'yes' to a few of them, go buy this game in the Steam Store when there's a green -% tag on it. Have fun exploring and fighting, and prepare for some sore wrists until the very end.

Fantastic game, which continues the sheer ingenuity and creativity of it's predecessor. I love the atmosphere (with Aperture owner Cave Johnson being sarcasticly funny and GLAADOS providing an ever eery feeling too). The levels are sometimes hard, but never undoable, and are bigger than in the first Portal.

I'm honestly trying to think of stuff I don't like about this game to make this sound a bit more balanced. I can't, i'm sorry.
